Its like polluting the market for these cars. Broke ass people with horse-ass ambitions buy these cars and then realize they cant do anything worthwhile to them.

Then we find stuff with spray paint on it, or with a million issues that could have been prevented if the owner actually respected the vehicle. I pretty much came into possession a stock S14 which was (surely) abused as a "drift" car and everything was haphazardly done to it.

I predict nice 240s will increase in value (10-15% of 240s) while the other 85% maintain the low end value but enter a state of steady decline in condition as they are constantly bought, abused, then sold only to repeat that cycle.

This is happening in the Z32 community too. A real nice twin turbo is still only worth about 10 grand and an NA, much less than that. Decent examples are usually $5k to $7k. The nice examples are few and far between, and usually the owners have no interest in selling them anyway. When hopping on craigslist at any given time, there will be 10 or so complete shitboxes for sale locally for no more than a couple thousand, whose owners are either too poor or too stupid to properly maintain them. If you're lucky, there's one decent one for sale somewhere in the state, maybe two, but most of the time there are none. That's the way it is though. Supra guys are selling mint ones for insane prices and we can't even get half what those things fetch. Why sell your mint Z when you won't get paid jack squat for it and there's a good chance you may never come across another one that's in decent condition?
