No, that is called being ghetto or doing sloppy "work".

"die hard sports enthusiasts" would cut and weld sections of the inner wheel well to fit the wheels and tires they desire.

also, stretched tires and excessive lowering have no business on a actual performance vehicle.

Rolling/pulling your fenders and hammering your car to make clearance are two completely different things.

why would someone cut the inner wheel well when I am talking of just hammering the inner lip flat? its a simple mod that would allow lowering and better fitment. cutting the inner fender is for an all out slammed car or for track purposes. dont try to come back with a random statement just for the sake of arguing.
I think you very well understood what I was talking about was the fact that the bmw had weak fitment and could be alot better.
how would you justify cutting and welding for something so freaking simple lol..and I never mentioned hammering the chassis, I said hammering the inner fender lip.flat.very different
I think the main point is having an expensive car is no excuse for weak fitment.. there is always something you can do whether ghetto or not..

That car has nice wheel fitment. It is a car built for performance, and none of it was lost in his lowering and wheel choice.

The car is 'flush' so it belongs in this thread.

Who are you to say they aren't 100% enthusiast? What makes you the judge on that? Just because they don't have the car sitting on the ground with overfenders, and wheels wide enough for Rosa Parks to sit on, doesn't mean that he isn't an enthusiast.

With that same logic, someone who doesn't track their car isn't a, "100% enthusiast", or a, "poser".

Glad to know that you are willing to take a car meant to perform, have it sit on the ground and rival the handling of a shopping kart.

That isn't being a pussy, that's being a logical person.

I misunderstood your first post then, i assumed you meant hammering the inner wheel wells.

i believe we have an accord. (although i wouldn't use a hammer when fender rollers and heat guns are readily available)

yeah the guys saying 215/225 are full of BS

i checked specs on a local porsche tuning forum and those guys are running MEATS 335/30/17 on their shop race car and a 17x14 rear.

The one's RB had were 17x13 and 17x14. I did not want them, you'd have to do some serious modification for the front wheels to turn.

I ordered a set 17x11 and 17x14. We shall see how they fit
