Like that kid that had the rollcage that was made out of wood and not bolted in, some dudes mentioned that it might not be safe and wouldn't pass inspection at a track and he should take it out. Then mods came in and deleted posts and threatened to ban people for hurting the kids feelings.

Coz you know if little Timmy wants a wooden rollcage in his car then he should be allowed to and anyone who says otherwise is just a jealous hater.

But that's the problem, the best lessons in life are often learned the hard way and if you stop being real about shit then you start enabling and encouraging dumb behaviour and people never learn.

I've had idiots say the same thing to me when I call stanced/stretched cars unsafe due to more potential for blowouts, reduced contact patch, and even other suspension alterations that destroy the handling dynamics. I got the hater treatment too from a bunch of morons who see no problem with driving those half crippled vehicles around. At some point, you just have to sit back and let them learn the hard way via Darwinism, which I'd be okay with if it wasn't for the other innocent commuters who could be affected.

The "roll cage" is perfect though. Nobody would ever get hurt from that stupidity except for the idiot who put it in his car and anyone else stupid enough to get in said car.
