^^ Reddit is a great source for dumbshit. I was talking with the guy there and he had Raceland coils "because he was low on cash at the time". He also seemed confused when I asked him what supporting mods he did with the Sr swap. Also that day, someone else was asking advice on how to spray paint their car.

Im not trying to be funny, or sarcastic, or trying to defend "dayZavenger"... but what is wrong with his comments? That the first mod he "performed" was the sr20det engine swap? or that he is asking other people what mods he should do to his car? I'm missing the point.

I think it has something to do with how vague he is. You don't just "do" an Sr swap, there are a lot of extra parts that go into it. He doesn't mention what suspension arms, short shifter, or coils he runs until you pry him. He just says that they're done. I think its fairly indicative of 240 "builds" right now, especially the cars in this thread. It shows that he doesn't care to modify his car to improve it but rather to cheaply imitate cars that do it right.

Awesome build but I just have a hard time believing the performance aspects of this type of suspension setup outweigh how ridiculous it looks. Would it really make that much of a difference if the front wheels were set in one more inch so that they fit under the fenders?
Every time I see something like this, all I can think of is this, but hell, even they are still under the fenders. |

When you had somewhat of a decent car and then take the "dont care" train. |
