the fronts i would like to go smaller would a 225/40/18 be the same as a 235/35/18? right now i feel the sidewalls are too tall and i am rubbing on turns and when i go over a pebble. i have some 225/40 but i am not sure if it will stretch enough where it'll sit as low as a 235/35 suggestions?
I think you should get better pics, instead of a cell phone camera. it would really make a difference on how it looks

nope the inner fender wall rubs against it and right now i can't fit a peice of paper on the outer it rubs that much so that's why i want to run smaller sidewall and need to hammer the insides.

i think my rear fitment is on key without having rucas to adjust camber. and the front needs spacers and camber. still trying to figure out why the front is giving me such a problem....

Specs are 17x9+22 up front and 18x9.5+22 in the rear.
Any comments on what i should or shouldn't do will be greatly appreciated.

i plan on gettin better wheels over the winter but instead of running around on factory s14 se's, i decided on these with tires for $600 brand new. couldn't pass it up. and ive been trying to get the front lower but i need to figure out whats up with my coils. there maxed but ive had the car lower before so i know theres room for adjustment

Would I be shunned for telling you to pull your front fenders? Maybe just try a newspaper pull first....you have to be careful though because the fronts can buckle if you put too much paper up there.

Just make sure all of your fender bolts are in and heat the whole fender arch up a shit ton - until its too hot to touch and put like 1/2 an inch of news paper in there, if that doesn't do anything go up in 1/4 inch increments until it pulls it a little. If you see the fender pull let it sit until it is cool to the touch again so it stays.

yeah fenders are not bolted and the ones on the bottom are rusted and broke so they just flap, the only things holding them are the side skirts.

just put on order some 225/35/18 should do the trick but thanks for the suggestions.

YO 99MAX!!!!

according to this, (tire stretch calculator) http://zilvia.net/f/chat/259260-tire...restretch.html
an 18x10 +2 is only .3mm less agressive than your 18x10.5 +8s.

that being said, depending on your camber setting, our setups (your current and my old) are VERY similar.

heres what mine looked like. i had TONS of clearance (inner wheel well clearance that is)

18x10+2 225/35s (front) 225/40 rears

the 225/35s will do the trick

No. Tire shine on exposed tire. Push car forward. Tire shine on uncoated area. Done.

FRONT CANNOT GO LOWER. It's not a coilover issue, it's a front bumper issue. Front bumper sits less than an inch off the ground. I can still pull a collar.

Pre spacer.

I have not touched my rear coils. I just added a 25mm spacer and added a smidge of negative camber. I'll take more pics after i get more work done. I still need to get this thing all one color and glass my sideskirts back together for the third time. I modified them after breaking them driving. THe way the skirts are designed, you pretty much have to run 18/20 or 17/18 or some kind of crazy stagger like that or they wont sit parellel with the ground or you'll have wheel gap. The rears of the skirts are thicker than the fronts. I made em even so i can tuck tire the whole way round without dragging them down the street.

The fronts are a lil past flush, i really want to poke them another 10mm or so bad but the way fc fenders are designed, i dunno. I'm really tempted to buy some overs for another car and MAKE them work to get that bubble look. I hate the lines of the stock fenders and quarters alot. Just on my car. You z/s/r chassis guys dont know how good you have it up front. I rub my fenders so bad that i had to remove some bolts so they're free to move around instead of destroying my tires or buckling.

Does anyone else put tire shine on the area of the tire that SHOULD be touching the ground, but doesn't?

I did. And I broke it because it's too low and i felt like getting crazy. road reflector pwned my passenger sideskirt. Ripped it off, shattered it in one spot and flung the thing about 30 feet from the car. Then i had to fab up a skid plate for my diff because when the car squats, it almost drags on the ground. I had to put my rear sway back in!

I've had to fix the rear bumper, alter the skirts and mend a huge crack in my front bumper. Also, my rims were rubbing on my coilover springs up front. For now, it's parked until i fix all that. Just put insurance on it last week so hopefully we get some rolling shots soon.
