Tape them into place and drill holes, then rivet them on. It's simple. Or have a body shop mold them on if you're into that sorta thing.

i was looking into getting STi injectors, the yellow 550cc side feeds, will i have to cut those pig tails and solder the wires onto my harness? what other subaru had the same injectors/pigtails?

there are tons of injectors out there, what will fit and what won't?

last thing, i took off all the electrical tape off my harness, and it has left a ton of sticky residue on the wires. how do i get that cleaned up? what chemical would i use, that would be safe?
bump.

so this guy has a fuel rail with high impedance and honda injectors....

wtf? honda injectors in a 240?

Soooooo I still can't find this vacuum leak or whatever it is. Tried soap and water, didn't find anything. Buuut last Friday, I left school, driving fine, then I stop at a friends house and hear a slight hissing noise. I figured it was an exhaust leak so I didn't think much about it. Well later on, It got worse. It wouldn't hold idle at all and would die. The hissing turned into a loud whistling/hissing sound now. I've still been driving it since it's my DD, but I can't find the damn thing. I've noticed that the Heat/AC in my car is only going through the feet and defrost vents now and won't change from it.
But anyways, I got a video of it tonight. It was hard to keep it running while going from the drivers seat to the throttle body lol. But as you can tell, it sounds like it's coming from the center underneath the intake mani. Has anyone else had this problem before? Do you think it's a gasket that blew even though it still runs strong? IDK, it's pissing me off since I don't have much time to look at it, or a place to be able to really take it apart. Well, here's the video......

Oh yea, It's a 96' KA24DE with just header, exhaust, and a 248 intake cam swap.....

Sounds like a vaccuum leak. The gaskets could have gone out. Spray the bitch with carb cleaner and watch if the idle changes. (spray it like a mofo).

Also put some damn gas in your tank. lol

So, i swapped out my Non-se black-faced cluster for a white faced SE cluster.... and, the "door-ajar" light and all the other little lights work... but the gauge lights aren't working. Any ideas?

Where did you get the info to do it..?
Maybe the bulbs are bad.
I'm getting mine wired up by my friends at JE and there doing my Nistune.
When I get my car back, we can compair wires nd see if you have a crossed wire

I'm doing a Kouki front end swap on my 96, I have kouki bumper retainer, head light brackets but the bumper still sags and there is space between the hood and headlights. I'm still using the zenki core support, What else is needed to tighten everything up?

pretty sure you need the bumper keepers that mount the stock crash bar to the bumper retainer and to get theze to all align to be able to botl up together you have to slot the holes on the crach bar where it connects to the frame, pretty much you pull the crash bar out a lil bit to get everything to lign up since the kouki front does poke out a lil bit forward, and once ya do this im sure ya could tilt the crash bar a lil higher to push up the bumper retainer and so on with the bumper to close the gap...

haha idk if its hard to understand but good luck*

Would R33 GTST calipers work with 350z track rotors if you mount up the z32 to z33 track rotor to caliper bracket. ? or will the caliper be pushed out too far to make even wear across the rotor?

i'm currently running 17x9 +42 rota grids with 215/40/17 tires on a slammed s14.
someone wants to trade 18x9.5 +20 vsxx reps but the tires are 265 or something huge. any ideas on how these will fit without spacers, new tires, or adjusting coils?
i want to use the bigger wheels but i don't want to raise the car or buy new tires.
will i have to?

Are the carrier bearing brackets the same between s13 and s14?

Google is proving inconclusive.

Oh yea, It's a 96' KA24DE with just header, exhaust, and a 248 intake cam swap.....
So i'm trying to spray some carb cleaner to try and find that leak. I still cant pinpoint it.When I spray in this area, the idle will raise up some......Sooooo my question is, do an of y'all know of a vacuum line down there I could try or is it still to vague of a spot with many lines there?

I also removed the EVAP line and tried giving me some more space. What are these circled?

But anyways, I put everything back together, and started the car. When I went to spray in that area, it never raised the idle. I can still hear the leak though?

That's the T-Bar from the PCV to the intake. The single line goes down to the PCV on the block behind the alternator. The 4 lines go to nipples on the intake runners.
It is behind the MAF so a leak would cause issues.

Get a new PCV and some hose the same diameter. Pull the alternator. Pull the hose and the silver box bolted to the block.
Pull the hose off the nipple on the box. That fitting is the PCV. unscrew the PCV valve from the box. Soak the box in carb cleaner and scrub it out with a toothbrush. Install the new PCV and replace the hose.
