They both have good sides, but the main issue with FRP is cutting the stock metal out. Then if you stick with stock metal and roll/pull you have that crappy looking trim lip (imo) and only a few people have spend days rolling their fenders to make it look right. So with that in mind why not do a mix of both processes.
Cut the inside of the fender (support) away and body roll the fender near the trim line to blister the metal. Modify the inner support and reweld back on.

If I am wrong, show me why?
By all means, if you have a few thousand dollars to pay for all of that metal work then ball on playboi. But I think having a quarter panel made out of steel in the same shape as the chargespeeds or any overs for that matter would require some skills in metal work, and welding. And There's the whole requirement of painting your whole car and yada da afterwards. When 700 bucks can get you a set of overs, test fit, mod, paint with minimal downtime.

Plus nobody on zilvia is building "show or street" cars they're building drift racers and togue chasers.

Not talking about cutting the fenders off...
Talking about cutting the inner structure so the outer skin can be pulled (blistered).
A little more welding, still need to paint (not the entire car), and you could probably use a fender roller.

Are you Bi-polar or is that Roid Rage, because you get really pissy over dumb shit.
And I don't give a shit about the Zilvia Trends, so mute point.
Your about to be doing this type of work to install your ChargeSpeeds 50s so why not "show me why".

No-one is bitching...

This..... minus that rolled lip. Not the best example but you can see there is nothing crazy supporting the fenders. This is also Knoops car that everyone goes balls deep about.

Instead of this...

This question is for those wanting to go widebody obviously!

Thanks brah, I had them on TEIN HR coils before, but changed it to lowering springs and kyb. Personally I think it rides smoother coz I daily it to school and streets here in Orlando generally downtown area really sucks, but where I live it's pretty fair.

To be honest with you I never knew they were worth that much on here, I have been thinking about doing that on here, however have had some deals in the past go real sour over forums where the potential owner backs out after I buy the car from the auction and I'm left scrambling.

If there is some good interest I will start doing that

Sorry I was sleepy, didn't mean for my post to come off dickish. If you're talking about doing this, then what about it?

I guess if you read my shitty build thread then you would've seen I had already done this. And for my overs I just need to cut away the lip of metal that's left away, re-seal, and live life.

I am an asshole, I will admit that.

You did the same think Knoop did, only you didn't cut far enough down.
If the inside was cut further down you would have more flexability and room to pull the entire fender out, rather than make the lip look like a vert ramp.
I see alot of this type of rolled fenders on here, I don't like the look, and I know the roller could be used better by keeping the roller wheel flat and working higher up. You did good work don't get me wrong, just feel you could make your fenders look like ChargeSpeed 50s if you work the metal right. Just try it out before chopping, please!!

Where do you think he got the idea to make his pull more extreme? I didn't modify it because when I got the car it was like that already and the rear wheel wells were not re-sealed just left open. You can imagine how pleasant the car smelled after it rained.

Needless to say the pull on my car looked fine and subtle, I don't like pulls on oem metal. They can come out looking good or really stupid. Knoop took the time to make his borderline good without looking stupid. Anything more and it would look dumb.

To be honest I think a good set of overs > metal but then again the rear quarter of the car is fucked up anyway (the bumper covers the damage) so I was torn over the switch.

Om1kron already said it, but just to set the record straight he did it first and I looked over the way he did it thoroughly before I went through with it.

If I felt like getting gnarly with another set of S14 fenders I'd probably cut the whole inside out, remove the outside fender, use a trailer fender like people do for front tubs, and do a real blister over fender. Space the OEM fender out and make some sheet metal to space it out and not have it look retarded....basically go for BN or Chargespeed rear fenders but out of metal. It would take a TON of work and there's no way and hell I'd put any where near that effort on a drift car. If I ever decide to make a show car that's what will happen. Show cars are pretty lame though, haha.
