yea, lots of cc debt in here. I guess that doesn't surprise me, but still, if I had any outstanding cc debt, I sure wouldn't be even thinking about modifying my car, or even owning one necessarily. educational debt and mortgages are necessary evils of a sort- sure, you have debt, but that's better than trying to save up for 20 years to buy a house outright and renting in the meantime, or not going to graduate school for 10 years because it costs so much.

20 years, $4k loan to pay off Visa and HSBC for car parts, $4k to my mom for my car, which looks like it'll come out of my inheritance rather than cash, $1k still on Visa from misc.
That's the problem with being hasty at buying stuff.... now I can't have fun (self-imposed regulation) until that shit is payed off.

24 and I have no credit card debt as i prepay for everything i buy online. Have a skyline and a 1989 240sx paid off. Versa took out a loan so i owe 17 on it. And I am buying a house so after my 20 down payment i should owe 330 on it. Luckilly I worked my ass off while I was in school so i don't have any school loans.
Oh and I made the mistake of getting one of those don't pay for 6 month credit cards and didn't pay for 6 months lol....lets just say its like 25% interest a month doooooo not ever buy on that shit!! save until you have the money or read the contract haha lesson learned the hard way

i only owe a few hundred on my cc and a few thousand on my car. No big whoop. AS soon as I get off my ass and go to college, then I might have some problems...
And by get off my ass I mean quit my easy ass job making too much money... Im hesitant to do that just yet.

I'm 28
230k mortgage, 40 yr 21000 personal loans 6600 VISA It is hard to enjoy parts you put on credit cards when the debt load stresses you out. Paying cash only for school and parts now while I finish my degree. I wish interest payments towards a mortgage were tax deductable in Canada. |

Just over 1500 on my 0% card that I used to buy my swap and new suspension (which is only 1/2 way on there right now). That'll all be paid off by March when the 0% ends...then the card will be shred.
