Volk superfine mesh
16x7.5+22 with 205/55/16 clears coilovers but not 26mm Z brakes. requires camber and rolled fenders when going low, front tire is tucked about 1/2" and rears about 1/4", pic is shown at recommend height on he's

also using a pair of 5zigen typhoons 17x8+35 with 245/40's in rear sometimes, clear coilovers and doesnt rub at same suspension settings. No pics yet

Lets keep this thing alive, bump for a good thread. lets try to make this alot easier to read though lets develop some sort of format to posting your sizes

car? (ex s13)
full wheel size + offset (ex 17x9 +20 all around)
Tire size (ex. 235-45-17)
fitment modifications (ex widebody rears, rolled/pulled fenders, etc.)
Coilover / brake clearance (what kind of coilovers do you have and what brakes are you running?)

( i used my plans for when i buy my wheels he he)

Could a mod clean up this thread a little bit? This is awesome information and its great to have around to help cut down will this fit threads. keep em comin guys!

I'm about to order a set of 15x7.5 wheels with -5 offset for my S13. I'm contemplating either a 195/60 or 205/55 tire. I don't wish to pull or roll the fenders, I don't have Z brakes, but I do have Silkroad coilovers with front camber plates... can someone tell me whether this combination will fit my stock bodied S13 with the tire sizes listed above? Does anyone have any pics with a similar sized wheel on their S13?

BTW, currently running 17x8 Fr +38 (plus 5mm spacer, effective offset is +33), 215/45 and 17x9 Rr +38, 245/40 SSR Varden Sport wheels, with no fitment issues. Pics are in the link on my sig. These wheels will be for sale soon.

Thanks

If you aren't planning on rolling your fenders, don't even think about it. Why don't you want to roll them? What's the big deal? I would suggest pulling the rear as well. Sam from JSPEC let me borrow some wheels for the drift comp last weekend. They were southern ways mesh at 15x7.5 +4 with 195/55 and they stuck out beyond the fender. I hammered the lip of the fender in and was running -1.75 degrees camber and they worked without rubbing. Your are going to stick out another 9mm and be sporting wider tires. You are screwed unless you want to run more than -4 degrees camber. Or you could always go mexicali style rubbing the whole way. Might wanna run a wheel spacer to get them beyond the fender. AHAHA

so if you want a lip on the wheels you need a positive off set.

the lower the offset the larger the the lip will be.
7" wide +40 offset = no lip
7" wide 0 offset = 2" inch or so
7" wide -20 offset = big lip but requires wide fenders.

Also, it depends on the design of the rim.

I didn't want to roll or pull the fenders because if it's not done right, it would look horrible, and if I decide to run normal wheels later on, the pulled fenders would look awkward. I don't mind running camber as long as it's not over exaggerated, besides how functional is -4 degrees camber for daily driving? also, I found the same wheels in 15x7 with a +32 offset. If I run the 205/55 tires on these rims, how tucked would they be? Thanks for the input.

-4 degrees camber is HORRIBLE for daily driving and for track driving. I think a few 86 guys run that much up front but those cars are pure track drift whores. Also, rolling your fenders doesn't change the look of your car at all. I did it with a hammer on a hot day. Just bash that lip flat and enjoy having 10mm more clearance. Preferably, you don't want to run as much camber in the back as the front so pulling would be a plus if you ran such a low offset.

As for the 15x7 +32, flushness will depend on how much camber you are running. Even on stock camber they will be sunken in so don't be expecting flushness if you get them. http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html Use this website and do all your measurements on your own. Find pics of people's cars and find out their alignment and wheel specs. This will help you out a lot.

these are 15x7-3, your definatly going to need pulled fenders to fit in rear, should be fine in the front with rolled fenders and some camber.

They were not that bad to deal with so far. The only thing I heard about them, is if you order something it will take forever to arrive, but they sent me the tracking # already and it should be here in 3 days, so I will see. I hope they are half decent shape since I paided the 963 for the used rims. Im dont car about scratches, but I would hate to repair a bent rim. I will make a post when they arrive.
-Thanks, Snail

Roja formula 5's
F: 18x8 +23 225/40/18 = Apex N1 pro camber plates maxed out as much as it can go, need to roll fenders and 215/40 would be better.

R: 18x9 +23 225/40/18 = too much camber, need to roll and maybe pull fenders

Pix are with out rolled fenders....

holy crap, that will look awesome once you roll and pull the fenders a little in back, fronts look like they fit perfect, that rear camber is insane though.
