These aren't on the street, they're sponsor built race cars. I see what you're doing there but come on...

http://realize-jp.net/2014/02/01/why...-went-to-shit/ "With D1 cars no longer coming to the States, the standard for car looks suddenly dropped and spiraled into a downward snowball from there. Nowadays, most people who are still involved or interested in drifting learned of its existence after D1GP had already stopped coming to America. Once that happened, the sport evolved in a different way here than it did in Japan, just like the different dialects of an original language. New people got introduced to drifting through Formula D and that became the only form of drifting they knew. American style became the only style and slowly from there it kept evolving to what it is today. Most people at any given Formula D event today do not know who Yasuyuki Kazama is. They don’t know what Dart Izumi is. But they sure do know what Sikky and Hoonigan are."

Unfortunately "race car" style emulation will always exist, some better than others. It sucks that these are so easily influenced to make their cars look like shit for street only use (no, a weekend drift event twice a year does not justify the "livery" you put on your car). and while we're at it, if the brand doesn't know who you are or gave you their parts, why the FUCK are you advertising for them?!?! That's the real doing it wrong. On topic:

I'll give you a hint, it isn't the livery. Race car excuse holds no water because even NASCAR's look cooler than FD cars. |

The only cars I straight up hate in FD are Jones' S14 and Landreville's. Ladreville's is everything wrong with SChassis these days, and Jones' is just shit. Field's is disappointing, the 3Dstar has so much more potential than he's utilized, and a lot of that is the S14.5 and the shitty height/livery. I maintain most of these other cars posted could be really damn cool with different livery.

^ All hail. It's amazing what that team has accomplished in recent years, and all of their research goes directly into their street tires.

As an aside, there is that asshat who's trying to compete with a turbo k2X s2000.
He used to drive an LS14, and from what I recall, he never qualified once. An LS14 is probably the easiest car to drift in the world, and he sucked with it. Some people just don't get the hint.
