Really clean piping so far man. I wish I wouldn't have rushed my car towards the end and took more pics. Also jealous of the non TRC throttle body, I need one.

Yeah, been there done that, and I always find my self re-pulling engines and redoing setups later down the road.

hell, even the engine here is gonna be pulled one last final time. Need to make small adjustments. Smooth out the upper radiator support, weld in nuts on the back side so the radiator support brackets bolt it like factory, paint the engine bay, etc etc. Hopefully all said and done he can have one of the cleaner, OEM looking setups. Fit, Form, and function.

Props man. I would most likely still be working on mine if it weren't for having to get stationed in Korea for a year. I wanted the car to move under its own power before I left to ease my stress when I come back. Once I'm back I will be redoing a few things here and there and finishing some other stuff that needs to be done. Hopefully will be a clean install once its finished.

Swapped oil pans to the lower profile GS(?) now the pan is up inside the subframe.

Then we installed the motor one final time. Now just need to bolt everything together and top off fluids!

Thanks guys.

Got intercooler welded and installed, oil topped off, gear oil topped off, driveshaft installed, throttle cable on, radiator in with upper and lower, dipstick on, plus a handful of other stuff installed. Should be ready this week.

I ended up just using the stock one for now. Works and goes WOT. Will go tercel throttle cable eventually.

We ended up getting a clutch line made, and bled the slave. Pedal feels nice.

He bought a new Optima Battery, tie down bracket, terminals posts, and distribution blocks for relocating the battery to the trunk.

Once that comes in we should be able to start it up.

Also Started working on mocking up exhaust.

I modified my stock one, and it fits perfectly. I am still a little unsure about it tho, I've never cut and re-attached a throttle cable before haha. Is the tercel cable a common swap in place of the stock one?

yeah we didn't cut his, we just opened up the locking nuts all the way and got it to fit.

Supposedly the Tercel cable fits perfect, its $15 from rock auto so we will try it.

Also P.S:

Put in the old battery and rigged some power wire and grounds to see if the harness was gonna work. Car fired right up first attempt. killed it immediately cause turbo return lines are still not on the car.

Now just need to button up some stuff so we can idle it and go through all the systems.
