Hardflips were never my thing.I could do them but it'll be mega slop. I was the 360 flip king both regular and switch.. Now Regular only rotate about 340 degrees and switch ones come once in a blue moon..

+1 on the kickflip statement... I don't know where my regular kickflips went =/... Nollie, fakie and switch are all easier then regular now.. I don't even understand how that is possible.

I've always hated rails (excluding flat bars), but I loved gaps and stairs... Now I can't even dream to do any.. I don't heal as fast as I used to in Jr. High and highschool, I also can't afford to break anything major (foot/ankle/wrist/arm).. I leave that stuff to the younger crowd.

I had friends that skate the rail but that was like 7 years ago.. From what I heard from the kids at the local park that place is a crazy bust now.. You get 2 tries tops to pull your trick before you're booted out..

i always have my board in my car but i havent been skating that seriously for about a year.. now days i stick to smooth parking lots for flat ground sessions cause i wont get hurt haha...any other bay area skaters around here?

I used to skate Wilshire - from the Federal banks near Vermont all the way down to Western - back in the late 80s. used to be a ton of skaters there back then.

I skated today.

I sucked donkey nuts.

I was trying to inward heel off a nice sized loading dock but I couldn't roll away clean enough for my standards.

Fuckkkkkkkkk.

And then I got kicked out of a spot.

.... security guards suck.every time I/we get kicked we just keep skating and haul ass if cops come. lol

cops are so ridiculous with skateboarders,they're cracking down on skateboarders like never before these days.
One time my buddies and I skated this college campus,its an awsome skate spot.Perfect smooth ass run up 9,and a 12 rail that made it into a few Transworld mags.Perfect ledges,etc.Then outta no where cops come out of every angle coming in their police cruisers drifting in the grass towards us,literally."Geet the Fuck dOWn" Lol .20 of us were like WTF and hauled so much ass out of there.(we were most likely getting arrested)
Little did we know that they just started cracking down on skateboarders at U.M. (University of Miami).

They used to just warn us before,but now,the heat is on along with almost every spot these days

It sucks,but thats how it is

They could be going after drug dealers instead of arresting skateboarders...

I skated for all of high school starting in 92. Skated to parties, skated between muni lines, skated all over. Drank a bunch of OE or Cisco and scraped my face several times. I managed to save all my teeth thankfully. My shins still have dents in them. And my ankles crack constantly.

Then when I turned 18 I got my license...end of skating for me. No more bus either. Both my brothers still skate - one has cadaver ligaments in his knee and the other's a cop.

Video Days was the best. Jason Lee with mutton chops. "No war for heavy metal!"

When I first started skating in 7th I was also playing basketball... Sprained my ankle a couple times playing basketball, then broke my ankle while skating... Probably wasn't a good idea to continue skating (after it healed doctor told me not to run or do any heavy physical sports), but I said f* him and ran four years of track and cross country and skate every now and then... Now my ankle hates me and decides to hurt whenever it wants... Sucks, but skating is fun

I just finally pulled a nollie flip blunt stall today at the skatepark.. It took me like a month to learn them..

At first I was trying not to use my hand when coming out but it was too hard.. I tried it today with using my hand it I pulled itin a couple hours...

I wanna try finger flip out now =P...

Oh and the person that offered to go skate San Clemente (park) last week.. I'm down for it now.. I finally got a board .

broke right ankle 2 times
broke right foot
2 concussions
broke right elbow last December 06
broke left elbow December 05
countless sprains ,cuts, shinners, hippers and dislocations
I kinda like the idea of a Zilvia sk8 session.
