I sold my last S13 over a year ago...

Bought an IS a couple months later... and then another S13 a couple of months later...

The IS (even though it's a 6 speed manual model) wasn't as fun to drive as the S13...

My first 240 was a s14, the engine blew and it went back to the dealers.
Drove a Dodge stratus for about 6months until I bought my first s13.
Fixed up the s13 and sold it. Bought another s13 fixed it up and sold it for profit. Moved to the islands for a year and really didnt need a car. Now Im back in Georgia driving a 2000 cavalier. Its a nice A-B car but it will soon be sold.

I want a new car but its something nice about having a car paid off.
Most likely will be driving:
a)Another s14
b)Toyotas or Nissans new RWD coupe
c)or this bad boy! (I NEED a convertible and Spyders are under 10k now)

first s13 @ 18, black, 5spd, 89 with dohc - sold
s13 @ 18, red, immaculate, 5spd, - sold
s13 @ 18, green, 5spd, - sold
s13 @ 19, red, ugly, 5spd, on the back burner
xg350l @ 20, silver, auto, very comfortable - daily
s13 @ 20, blue, ugly, 5spd, on the back burner.

@ 20, in the market to sell the xg350l for an ap1 s2k.

I've never driven one, but I heard the s2k's are alot of fun to drive. I'm thinking about selling my 2006 Evo IX for something else.

Insurance for the s2k is more than the evo. lol! I tried.

My first car was an S14, similar to the one I have now, except it was stock. Knew nothing about cars or engine swaps or suspension or anything when I bought it, didn't really care.

Decided it was too slow one day, and bought an MR2 Turbo. Did a bunch of stuff to that... TD06, coils, etc. When I went to college, I was forced to sell it because I no longer had a way to pay for it and nowhere to put it.

With the money left over from that, I bought a Mazda 323 GTX for a daily. Turbo, AWD, and 2600 lbs. was pretty fun; no one ever expects a 20-year old Mazda hatchback to blow-off at them.

Bad crank key-way eventually killed that car, though.

I then decided to get another S14 since my first one was the most fun car I had owned up to that point, despite being the slowest. Since SRs, KA-Ts, and RBs are so common now, I figured I could have my cake and eat it, too.

The rest is history, I suppose.

Honda CRX - got in a trade, faster and more fun to drive, was totaled by some dumb girl
Chevy Blazer - short mini truck phase, got boring FAST
s13 coupe - needed my Nissan back, but was kinda a pile
s13 vert - bought this as a nice cruiser project and I am stickin w/ this one for a while

Wow, its sad to see 240s busted up cuz when you do see one and it looks good, your like damn.

But for me, i've always had 240's.

S13 hatch - overdrafted my bank just to buy it....non-running. Had it for almost a year and did nothing with it. Sold it later.

S13 Coupe - Ran for two days, engine blew, not my fault. Was down almost a year, got back up running, now its down again. Still have it

S13 Hatch - Bought it cuz i needed a daily. Took it to my first drift event. FUN! Later sold it.

So i had pretty much S13's thus far. I plan to keep my coupe though, love those cars. I dont ever see myself buyin another hatch, but a coupe yes.

i owned 3 s13's and then tried my hand in the rotary game for 3 yrs with a 94 rx7 that i ended up modding WAYYYY too much for my own good and dumped it to get outta debt again and then bought my current s14 in cash with the extra money leftover

240's are just good / cheap fun, ya can't go wrong

i love my s13, i have mine stripped so even a stock s13 feels soft and comfy, i miss that, but when i rip it and run after bends it is just so much fun. I love speed.. I love fast cars, even though my s13 isnt that fast.. but hey.

Only car that tempts me some is a 300zx maybe, after seeing SPL's car. I wonder if an s13 can be made as fast as that beast lol..

I've considered an FD rx7 and s2000... but i dont know...

I plan to go all out (as i already have spent so much on it, its like im already in the rut), and do an ls1 swap, finish of all the suspension and brakes work that i plan and yeah... if it still sucks compared to a z06/ferrari/carrara gt/spl 300zx, lol ill trade it for a better car or something :P

I bought my 91 Mazda 626 5 spd for 200 bucks before I even got my license and it was a blast to drive sold for a grand in 2004
Bought my 2000 corolla 5 spd in 2004 because I was sick of the old car problems
Sold that in 2006 for my 1998 kouki AT and hated driving it but loved the handling... its in the driveway getting an MT and JIC coils
Future plans are suede dash and suede/leather z33 seats, complete interior redesign then KA-T

that valve cover you had on the RB is cool, ive never seen that before.

Yeah, that's just what the R34 RB25's came with. Under the cover, it looks like any other RB25. lol.

boy....lots of great stories! and lots of sad ones...it hurts to see some wrecked 240's out there.....but glad to hear the comebacks! My story is...my friend had a stock 240 in high school, and i always loved riding in it! drivin it once, and loved it! unfortunately..like some of the earlier posts from our members..i bought an s2000 back in 01 and eventually sold it 3 years ago....college times can be rough on your wallet! high insurance rates, no money for maintenance, parts for that car is expensive as shit! Great car tho out of the box! Now that im out of school and working....picked up a 240 hatch and never will look back! ima keep this thing till im old!

i have had my 240sx for about 3 years now. i purchased it with an sr20det in it already

. well after time i heard the turbo making bad sounds. i thought it might have been the motor so i splurged and bought a 350z and parked the 240

now i have a 350z that is draining all my income and a 240sx that is almost ready to run again. once i get the parts for it i will get it road worthy and get rid of the z :O

FIrst car was my S13 hatch.

GOt into an accident (sorry no pics) and decided to go SR. DId that, but everything on that car either broke or was going out.
Sold it and drove a civic then sold that and got a 99 olds intrigue (ballin status...no)

Now I have a rebuilt KA at 5.5k S14 Zenki. :} I like.

I had a 89 hatch stolen and curbed, got it back, sold it, then bought a '92 E36 2 door auto. Nice as hell, but not as 'raw' as the 240. sold it, same day I bought my lovely '92 Coupe. After 2 years of learning how to wrench on it (never would have learned on the bimmer) All I need is a paint job to match the Silvia front and bodykit. Been a little rough lately with the daily driving on a slammed Stance suspension AND bodykit. I just REALLY need to paint it. Been thinking of either selling it and getting a manual E36 2or4 door black Bimmer again or getting a auto 4 door E36 for my daily and see how that works out. Haven't really got to "drift" my car at any events in the worry that I will break my daily and be screwed for a bit. Oh cars.....you wacky cars you.
