Got a quick question..tried some searching but sill unsure and basically I need to make a decision by the morning. I'm looking at some wheels for a nice deal that are 18x8 with a 30 offset. My s14 is currently on springs (1.18"F/0.98"R drop) and agx struts. Will I have to do any fender work, and whats a good tire size to run so I don't need fender work or spacers? I was thinking for the tire width at least 225. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm guessing its possible to pull this off, since I've seen plenty s14's with 350z wheels but never seem to list the suspension. Like I said unfortunately I don't have much time to search cause I need to decide by the morning before work because its the last set. I appreciate anyone who wants to chime in, and sorry if it's been covered before. Kind of racing against the clock lol |

Your on springs. So no need to stress about it so much. Just get a 40 series tire and your good.
edit: Just saw your join date and post count. Just thought you would already know the answer based on that. Idk.

ugh. man seriously you must have not looked through this thread one bit to ask that question.
to answer your questions simply. no you won't need fender work b/c they will look like fugly sunken battleships. if anything you made need spacers to make them remotely look ok. |

Yeah I know its not the low offset flushness whatever I don't care..for the price can't beat it especially since I need new tires before the winter and figured why not throw them on something better than 16's. I mean I kinda figured the answer but figured I'd ask anyway since I'm on springs and have no room for adjusting height. Seriously I mean for the price I could always make them winter wheels down the road and when I got the time to save up for a lower offset down the road. Just didn't wanna pass on the deal.
As far as fender work was mainly concerned about the front, and as far as rubbing was just wondering if would clear the struts with out a spacer... small one at that. I knew I wouldn't need a major pull/roll like most of you guys lol Thanks |

Why the fuck are you rushing into a decision that sounds like:
A) you don't know what you're doing B) a waste of money ?

Because I need tires soon and rather not put new ones on the wheels I currently have, and its my money and already said the wheels for the price I think are a deal. All I need was answers rather than opinions on my decisions..just saying

Actually, according to the place I bought them from, they're made in Germany... Who knows; I know I really don't care, either.

scweet1 the garsons are sick rims but i think the rear wheels are a little to agressive or maybe it would look better pulled more. it looks funky compered to the fronts with like zero camber.
