That was about as bad a basketball game you could play by the Heat tonight. Lazy Defense, slow closeouts, pure confusion on switches wow the list goes on and on. It will be interesting to see how the Heat respond in 48hrs. I don't expect them to play with their "this is a pre-season game mentality" of tonight.

I would have to disagree with the LeBron statement as well, not just because Im a heat fan either. He is one of the greats right now, but he flat out sucked at shooting last night. His mind set is to get his team mates more involved which I understand but if he put up his usual 30+ points instead of 15 and Chalmers put up his 18+ the outcome would have been different. The supporting cast last night was not as bad as they have been, LeBron shit the bed and so did Chalmers with all his turnovers. That being said, the Spurs were on fire last night, 16 3 pts finals record! Heat better step up their game which I fully expect them to as well as LeBron or else this series will be over. And as far as that block goes, I dont care who it was against or who blocked it, that was straight badass and yes that hibbert block was disgusting, but why would a heat fan rant and rave about another teams block!?!? Because Splitter is a back-up nobody, he had an open drive to the basket going for a one armed dunk and got straight stuffed, like I said who cares who got stuffed by who, it was bad ass!

That's what I saw on the highlights last night. They showed a couple of clips with lbj driving in only to be double or tripled team where he had to force shots and miss. Based on that, it looked like lbj was trying to be aggressive and drive in the lane, but the D was just too good, no homo.

But yeah, San Antonio did everything they've been doing right, everything they needed to do right and lucked into shooting threes like a fucking layup drill for a game. |

![]() Oh I see what you did there I hope Parker will be ok. They need him since we all know SA is smart enough to know they can't just depend on playing "three to the head" all series and Manu has been sucking all year!

If you're a Heat fan you're fine with losing by 36points last night. I rather get blown out than to lose by 4 on a last minute lucky shot. Had the Heat played well last night and still been blown off the floor I would be depressed right now but this was simply a perfect storm on unreal play vs horrible play. I don't see lastnight being repeated again and I expect the Heat to respond like the Championship team they are tomorrow night. All and all this has been a fun series to watch.

At what point is a team given credit for properly executing defense, and making sure players don't get to their favorite spots? Nowadays its a team playing badly, not the other team actually might have done what they practiced and prepared for.

I spoke about Lebron's block on Tiago which has blown up to be one of the best Playoffs blocks of all time and it has even the real Heat loyals coming out to say it was a "clutch" moment. Lebron is a marketing tool. Had it been Tiago vs Sefolosha, you wouldn't have said RIP and put in more hype into it with "long live the king" Don't get it mixed up now. I dislike most of the Heat's fanbase & from what I've seen in this thread, most of what you say is what a typical fan would say. You try to not be THAT Heat fan but you really stay based to your fandom. |

Simply because it's obvious that the Heat played themselves out of the game lastnight. Their Defense was one of the worst that I have seen in 24+ Years of watching basketball. Them scoring 77 points had everything to do with their lack of defense ( because their offense feeds off of their defense). The Spurs have had the same game plan since game 1 and it hasn't really worked until game 3 and that had everything to do with Miami acting as if this series was over and they were getting ready to get their next ring. Had the Heat played well and still been killed, people would see things in another light but whether you hate the Heat or not you can't be completely blind to the fact that this game went the way it went because Miami did everything wrong. You have to take your I hate Miami glasses off and look at it through objective eyes. Just the fact that the Spurs got 19 offensive rebounds should show you exactly where Miami's effort was lastnight....

Seriously are you trolling right now? Is it that you're trying your best to show how much you are against the Heat? Did you even watch game 1? That game came down to tired legs and a lucky F-ing shot by Tony Parker not a dominating defensive performance by the Spurs. The Heat missed wide open shots, made stupid turnovers and countless mental mistakes that players make when they're out of gas. The Heat outplayed the Spurs in every stat and qtr that game until they ran out of gas at the end. Even the biggest bandwagon Heat hater can see that.... Then again bandwagon Heat haters tend to be blind to facts 99.9% of the time so nevermind...

LMAO! It's all good you are of the few that still keeps perspective despite your hate for Lebron. There are others that just blinding vomit nonsense when they get caught up in the moment. Kinda like that Knick fan that made that "MELO IS A BULLY" Youtube vid. Man I seriously think that was Brolo. After all he has been known to love the Youtube vids...

Was just in fun. I know you go to any city including LA, and you will find fans like that. In a clip like that you don't show the people who correct you and know what they are talking about, only the ones with the most ridiculous answers. Tonight's game I hope is closer than the last 2 (well in the 3rd n 4th) I wanna see another nail biter like game 1!

Anyone else find it unfair that Jason Kidd has a Head Coaching job just 1 week after calling it quits, yet Patrick Ewing is still stuck playing the assistant role? I think Pat deserves a shot at this point.

Unfair for who? For Ewing or for the Nets? I do not think this is a good idea to go straight from being a player right into a head coaching position. Seems very impulsive imo.

My thoughts exactly, I just can't see Jason Kidd turning that team around. Hell he couldn't even get the Knicks to listen to him. Meanwhile Ewing has paid his dues yet he doesn't get a shot at Coaching.

Anyways, I stand by my team. Win or lose. I wont doubt them for tonight, I stopped that a long time ago, I leave that to everyone else. I don't mind being taken out if we go down fighting. I want to see the effort being there, not going out with a piss poor attempt.
