Well if we observe the rest of the picture including the 4x4 wheel fitment and the bro-zo exhaust I think we all have low hopes of his expanding foam areo coming out nicely.

There is a local guy by me who is doing his own kit by hand. Its inspired by gundam body flows and others little bits. Only posting because its related to shitty diy aero, really be posted in done right.

Pretty sure using foam for creating aero has been done for a long time and can be done nicely. You don't just leave the foam aero installed... You create a mold with it.

But these are 240sx owners and they are using foam cans from Lowe's, not the three part stuff used in ADC molding. |

The biggest fail is his inability to use google. There are a baggillion videos and pics of the 4BT swapped 240sx. Joke is, the 4BT is so heavy, I wouldn't even put it in my 2nd Gen Tacoma. A dressed engine is over 800lbs. The Jeep 4.0 is a steaming pile of shit. It's saving grace is its sooo under powered it can't hurt itself. It's a bullshit OHV Inline 6 that shits where it eats. If you he wants to waste gobs of money to be different, Falcon 4.0 is where it's at. Here is one in a R33 making 1134whp at 39lbs. |

because it made torques, but for their size their hp per displacement sucks
+1 on the Ford Barra motor. I actually want to ITB one and put it into the S14 I have... maybe in the future

"You're doing it wrong" Pt. 2 - Because turrible ideas never die

Hit up eBay Aus, they go for like $1,500 USD. Shipping would be like $500. Get a hold of AusFordparts.com, I'm sure he could help. At the very least he could get you an aluminum cross flow head for a Ford 250 Inline 6. The Barra is basically a modernized evolution of the 6. The 80's, emissions chocked cross flow made 123hp and 213ft/tq from the factory. Your basic 9:1 build will get you 165-200hp depending on cam and tuning. An all out race build with 11:1, massive ported head work, triple side draft webbers and a 300 degree cam can do 400hp at 7,500rpm. You'll need minor head and block work to mate the cross flow to a US engine. |

Nice. Right now it's got a bone stock, boring as hell 87 5.0 out of who knows what. I'd like to have something other than just another small block Ford.
