It's just the same stuff that the door panels are made of.

Yeah, it's the same as the door panel. Sometimes some of the glue gets stuck on there and there are 3 little holes where they vacuumed the fabric on or whatever. Much better than that tweed shit. Best free "mod" I've done to my car haha.

+nicest brown int. i've seen and wouldn't expect the s15 blue seats to work as well with it as they do.. |

they look SO much better in my black interior now its not even funny. waiting for rain to stop so i can post pics. but you do the math...... this plus this plus this plus this plus this is gonna equal one nice ass hatch. o and i got an S15 rear seat to match the fronts. yes i know its a bitch and some say it doesnt work. my argument is that its an S13 who the fuck puts people in the backseat? ive seen a fuckin RB25 intercooler ziptied on, im pretty sure ill be ok. it will never be sat in or folded down. its just gonna sit there all sexy like and make me |

carpet came from Auto Custom Carpets. kit comes molded too. well sort of. not as easy as dropping in an oem one but little shaping is needed. the floormats were aftermarket ones that i had them do up in teddy bear plush material, then i had em custom embroidered so they look oem.

Why do people strip interiors to that point?
For like the 2lbs you'd add in door panels and maybe another 10lbs in carpet you could just make one more horsepower and be comfortable. Just sayin. |

I've always hated gutted cars, especially when they see more street than track(sometimes no track). reminds me of a buddy of mine in high school. completely gutted his sr-5 to pretty much just the dash and front seats. added about all the ebay bars he could find and a bazooka tube.Which pretty much weighs more than everything he took out. If any of you guys have dealt with corolla interior, shit weights next to nothing.

the floormats are the exact same dimensions as oem. you throw them down and then smile! they even have the little rings that the oem mats have to secure them so they dont slide forward and fuck your game up. quality/plushess, excellent and teddy bear soft. waaaaaaay nicer than 18 year old crusty mats. heres a pic before i got it all squared away. for an aftermarket kit i was really impressed. |

Isn't the carpet supposed to go over the hump?
Was it just more work than you wanted to do to get it fitting properly or just wasn't going to work at all?

depends on if they track the car or not. it wont pass tech because the panels and carpet are a fire hazard.
