i believe all japanese cars has a bracket like that so u can take the bumper off without taking the licence plate off. I also believe its illegal to take your plates off in japan. (reason for those brackets)

Ithink it is due to being so low that the bottomw of the rear bumper, just behind the wheels can sometimes hit and make the bumper fall off. I have seen this happen before.

For URAS to look right the car has to be lower then Nates, with wheels that stick out past the aero, and the car needs to be a dark color....preferably black.

Man, one day on the way to the track, my rear bumper fell off on the highway for some reason. That was scary. Had to run into the lanes and grab it and not get hit by trucks.

Anywho, I made my own rear license plate bracket. I drilled holes in the car and bolted it on there. (Did not have rear bumper reinforcement). I did this to
A. look cooler with a sick angle)
B. I knew I'd break a lot of bumpers, so I figured I would enjoy the plate being attached to the car itself.

Just curious how do you guys mount your aftermarket front bumpers? I have an origin v1 front and i just have it held in by a screw on each fender.. nothing else and theres nowhere else to mount it. If i scrape pretty good it always pops out on 1 side.. sucks.

2 zip ties in the center where the grill is and 2 on each end of the fenders

I don't plan on lowering my car any lower, no reason to IMO

sorry to stur up the wrong pot of subject with rear plates guys. I always assumed everyone just ziptied it on all ghotto instead of mounting it on the bumper where it was designed to go. I'll take a closer pic of what I did with my setup next time I take my bumper off.
