i tried take the cover off, but when u need to drive all the time in ur own car, the fake leather or w.e the hell it is the steering wheels are made out of gets too hot in 90 plus degrees weather and sitting in the sun. id rather not sit in my car with the ac running for 5-10 mins till it cools down.
