I hope i'm not posting too soon in here, but my new project coupe I've been working on

Rota Grids 17x9.5 +12 all around powder-coated gloss white
Nankank 235/40/17
D2 Coilovers - front collars removed, rears intact
Fenders rolled rear, hammered flat front

static height in the air

and then I lowered it on ramps to see the rear fitment...

Should have the car done this weekend and driving around.

I really wanted to keep my Chrome set and source out another pair of Chrome 18x10.5's, but they never came up. Found this brand new set in the exact sizes/offsets I wanted (same fronts, bigger rears). So, hopped on 'em.

I did like the 17's all around, but the FLTA2's maxed out in the back still made me have rake. I wasn't about to droop the spring.

17/18 stagger is okay though.

That's funny, for some reason I thought wheel fitment pictures were posted BEFORE the wheels on the wall. Oh man, I must be a complete idiot and legally blind. I don't even know what I'm doing on this forum.

Loved the Z with the 275's in the back. Had to still go down one size smaller unless we wanted to keep the 7 degrees of camber.

19x10 -3, 19x11 +0

Brian is currently shopping around for some track wheels. Definitely want to see this thing with some new wheels on it.

Doubt it. I test fitted them on the car when I still had coilovers on it. The rim itself was right on the quarter panel without jacking it up too much. Once I dial in some camber, it'll be perfect.

Yes. I mean they will probably look better and visually not be as noticeable as with 17's in the rear. But never the less. Increasing diameter by an inch is only going to make the back higher or at the same height depending on tire size. This is all assuming that his physical ride height isnt going to change in the rear or front.

Have to also take into account the different tire size. The Federal 235/40's were thick as all hell.

Either way, it's not like it's that big of a deal. I'm not exactly set on FLT-A2's. Could easily just go with a different set of coils (looking at DG-5's).

pull the rear fender a little, paint the lip, and get some navan sides and you'll be golden..
