like i said above, i hang out with a lot of vw's soo i guess i was influenced to take the 240 slam game to a new level and use some of their techniques to go lower. i think its safe to say i have the lowest s13 on 17's to date.

I actually agree with this one, I do it just for fun and to say I did it, it does look good tho.. in a couple of months my car will be up higher and have some big tyres, and a lot of grip.

i have an aluminium skid plate that has worked pretty good, ive taken the car into some curbs and it has held its form with just little 10mm bolts. i sometimes go in the middle of lanes to just explode lane dots for fun.

my specs are 17x9 et +4 215/45. it doesnt rub that much actually, only on hard bumps or going up drive ways it does. this summer i want tub my wells and do my new coilover set up so i can slam it 3 or so more inches. for now this is a fun ride height to have it at.

I don't know....my 14 is an inch higher than it used to be cause the exhuast scrapes on the ground just going over dips....but then again...matt powers s14 on 17's was dumped....

I don't have the car anymore, i guess you'll have to take my word for it when i say my tension rod brackets and frame rails were less than an inch off the ground. the oil pan rested on the ground before i raised the engine. or not, but whatever. if you must compare, compare the wheel to fender gap.

Now i'm not claiming i have or had the lowest anything. but i know for a fact that you don't. To be frank your car is not low. its at a decent height and looks good. but if one thing stands out about the car its not the lack of ground clearance.

I stand by my statement, however i probably should have said "by today's standards". as i explained to him, it was probably his statement that it was "the lowest S13 on 17s to date" that got my attention.

Nice haha. I wish the roads by me didn't blow. I plan on going lower (coils aren't maxed, possibly take out a collar if needed) but the way the roads are around here I don't think I'll be able to do it til I move.
