Hawaii holding its own, is their shipping for parts cheaper for being so close to japan or more expensive for parts being shipped from the states?

I think Hawaii also has the highest cost of living of any state, in just about every category, by a comfortable margin, and so I'm sure that outweighs saving a couple bucks on overnight parts from Japan.

There IS Loco Moco though. I'd still live there.

i think there are some tracks on oahu. I remember back when komatsu and chunky bai were driving for signal auto they did some exhibitions there. It was back in the day, just a little bit after those two and koguchi did that demo for the first time in the US.

Yea it is expensive to live there, my uncle lived on maui for a while and i would go stay with him some summers. Living there is seriously worth it if you don't mind living in a tiny apartment. some amazing driving roads...

plus option and drift tengoku videos are cheaper there and you can buy them in stores, which is tight.
