i'm staying in solvang this weekend, and on the way back from santa barbara today, we stopped in goleta to do some shopping. when we were in borders, the power went out and the lady said we had to evacuate.

outside borders, i took a picture of the sun

heading toward 101

heading back to solvang on 101

even further up 101, the smoke suddenly got way bigger, like a volcano was erupting

view of the smoke from our balcony
