It's not a matter of your "financial situation", It's a matter of having patience. I personally believe my wheel collection is nothing to be sneezed at, however the amount of money i have spent is not much more than a set of Sportmaxes or Rotas per set.

Take that as you will, but the parts you have on your car and ultimately the car in it's entirety is completely up to you and the standards you set for yourself.

I'll never understand why people try to defend the knock offs THEY bought for their car.

my 2 cents, not that they are worth anything.. but anyone who buys a set of wheels second hand is no better then anyone buying a knock off. you are in no way supporting the manufacturer of the wheels. if someone wants a knock off who gives a shit. people who buy rota grids were never going to buy real te37s anyway.

Yeah, because when you buy legitimate wheels from somebody they are gonna give the money to Rota instead of buying another set of legitimate wheels.

that logic doesnt really work. its like saying buy a used nissan or else nissan wont make new cars, because the person who bought that car wont buy another nissan if you dont.

Cool story.

What does the brand of my wheels have to do with my fitment again?

Is it really that serious? Buy whatever you feel like buying. You dont owe anyone an explination. To each their own.

If you buy "knockoff"wheels whatever..if you buy "Fruity O's" instead of 'Fruit Loops" whatever

no, your logic doesn't work. there aren't any knockoff nissan brands.

if people don't buy knockoffs, there won't be knockoff companies. simple as that. buying real used wheels is better.

Its easy to do something nobody else does, because everyone these days buys the same bullshit.

People are doing original things with the same old chassis all the time, maybe you just havent been around long enough to know that.

Well at some points it's not necessarily do to cash. But value which wheels are given. For example, I want to buy some work equip crazy offset and what not. But, I won't at this period of time. Why? Because I want to drift. I don't want to bang up some nice wheels for drifting Or the cool factor of having nice set of wheels which everyone jocks u. Maybe thats y people buy so-called "real wheels" vs. So-called "knock off wheels" .... My car is a track car. It will not be driven on the streets. So for me it makes perfect sense to spend 160 per wheel vs 500+.... At this given time ...... If I would just drive the car in the streets I would buy some nice wheels!! My 2 cents

^^ That makes even less sense, you should want higher quality track wheels. Its that "might as well buy the cheap shit, cuz imma break it anyway" attitude that has turned this community to shit.

And Matt13vert, I dont have "fitment". I have repeatedly stated that I drive a bone stock 240 with SE's. I dont need to have fitment to have common sense. And I dont need or want internet fame because my car fits the current fad.
Contnue whoring your car, and your knock offs.

This needs to end in this thread.
If any of you have that much of a problem with MY OPINION, PM me.

Not to continue, but this was my only point from the start. It's a wheel FITMENT thread. If all you want to do is complain and rip on people, take it elsewhere, start a "Let's hate on fake shit" thread or "Even though you spent your hard earned money, you still suck" thread and take your negativity elsewhere. No matter how much you complain people won't change, so why waste your time? I know my parts aren't fake, you know your parts aren't fake, so why not just leave people be? Sure there are a lot of similar 240's out there, all the more reason to keep you driven to stay at the top of your game and not cheap out on the parts that YOU buy.

Maybe you could start a "Post wheel fitment of cars that do not belong to you" thread while you're at it.
