Why are knock offs and stickerbombing synonymous?

Quick Q about tire sizing:
Currently on 225/40 and I can hardly turn as it rubs like mad on the inside of the wheel well. Don't really want to hammer and I was planning on going about .5-1" lower so I need to step down a tire size. 215/40 or 215/35? I don't plan on going Zilvia low since I like my aero and don't intend on wrecking it. Wheel specs are 18x8.5 +0 Rears will be 18x9.5 +10~15 on 225/40 How it currently sits on my S13... (And no, I didn't drive the car after testing the wheels so the camber wasn't adjusted yet) Last edited by jing; 05-17-2011 at 02:49 PM.. |

Forgot to mention that it's for my S13!
I used one of those tire size calculators and I ran 215/45 on my 17x9s before.. and the sidewall height is nearly identical to that of a 215/40/18. Hope some more people can chime in here before I make my decision! |
