the event scheduled for sunday the 23rd of october has been cancelled , due to another event conflict by national orange show speedway. On their behalf, slide assassins' would like to apologize for any inconvenience this last minute notice may have caused you.
There has been an offer of a 50.00 discount to each driver registered and paid at a later date, which will be released in a few days.
Full refund will be done to all drivers paid immediately.
Paypal- same way
cash- get with person you paid too.
Once again we are very sorry for their mistake-

The word on the streets said the reason it was canceled was that they were going to have to increase the insurance costs because there was going to be 4 Z32s on one track and we were going to rip that place apart. lmao

Either way the shit sucks..... the only good thing about it was that i had to rush to get this kids NA motor back in and running so i could work on mine. So that headache is done which is cool.

i rushed my car to get it done...dyno'd and clutched failed on dyno...so now...minus the 120 for event...and minus 300 on the shit clutch, and minus another 200 for another clutch...plus time on dyno that resulted in nothing...im pretty sure you taking the day off from work isnt as bad...so chill the fuck out, ull get ur money back and not loose anything...

and im still smiling and not cryin...because this just means more time to get the car done...

I see I'm catching flac for my post. Just to shed light on my situation, I work a quality control job for with a pita boss, 10 hour min days normally and 6 days a week mandatory. A day off is hard to come by for me, and its unpaid, I have to beg and work 12s to get one and I'm super burnt out from doing so. I yesterday I worked 8:00 - 1:00 yesterday and came in at 8:00 this morning, been working crap shifts all week. The short notice sucks, this cancellation was floating around early yesterday but we wernt told forsure till 17:00 today I can only assume some guy from SA was trying to get us some track time which I do appriciate. It's just weird that the track knew we were coming ahead of time and barely told us yesterday. Rumor has it someone paid their way into our spot. I think I have a right to be unhappy and not get called a teenager in huge font although from my phone my post didn't sound as rash lol; I was trying to take a dump and couldn't read the entire post so each line needed atleast one f-bomb. I mean what good is $50 bucks off the next event if you cant attend this was going to be my first time out.
