I didn't do the final body work, but it just needed a little filler to smooth it all out. The actual pulling was a massive pain in the ass and I did that part. I cut out the inner metal and did an overfender-esque rewelding of metal back in higher up so I'd have clearance for the wheel to move up and down. To get it out that far took a lot of force from a fender roller and some sledge hammer work.
Front fender has some similar pulling, just not as extreme: 17X10 -18 235/40 NT05 -2.6

I'm thinking it may just be due to the reflections in that angle though. Also, the paint looks gorgeous. |

I hate this mentality. Just because you're not driving a benz doesn't mean you shouldn't worry about your car. At that point, why modify it at all, or even do oil changes, or wash it... it's just a poo-40. Have some pride in your P.O.S. even if it is a P.O.S. and continue to maintain it if not make it better.
I wasn't nit-picking, he obviously spent a bit of cash getting the custom body work handled and if it were me, I would want to make sure for that money everything was 100% what I wanted. I do think that it may have just been the reflections though, that's why I was curious to see another pic. |

yeah, but you're not really going to see things like that on unfinished body work/primer. It's not until you have a nice glass finish on it that you'll see minor imperfections.

I appreciate all of the complements. I don't have another angle of that side...but I have one of the other side and the reflections on it are even more confusing, haha.
It is smooth though, and I personally like the way it flairs out and tapers with the rest of the fender. I did all of the metal work, so I got it looking the way I wanted the best I could. Front fenders are a royal pain in the ass to get to move, they're so thin when you hit one side the other goes in. I shaped the whole fronts with a hammer and dolly because the fender roller wasn't doing the job. I also don't have the eye of a body guy, so if you are super good at picking stuff out you may notice one or two little things with the fenders that either didn't bother me or I didn't notice. It is going to be tracked and its a drift car, so I had to be somewhat realistic. I told that to the body shop too, and I'm not sure if its sunk in yet for them, lol.

Is that the factory color still? Looks amazing.
Oh yeah, wheel fitment... uh... on point as always, but in true zilvia fashion, could stand to be a little lower too. |

Its a porsche color, and that was before it settled back down. I had literally just put it back on the ground. This is afterwards:
