yea, that was humiliating... and now that shump is out I doubt this series will last long. this iso crap is not going to work well against a team like the heat 1 player can't carry a team through the playoffs. There was no penetration they were just hanging around the perimeter the whole game throwing up bricks on forced shots. They are going to have to use some pick and roll if they want to stand any chance against the heat and get the ball moving.

They can beat the Pacers but could they beat the Celtics? Maybe, but the Heat? Doubt it...Heats the my fav now to come out of the East. West is still a toss up, I think OKC could be that team but they're not sure shot in my book.

As far as the OKC/DAL game, Durant may not have shot that great but biggest thing he did was find the open man, when he got double teamed and on penetrations.

It is something that will wind up cutting Dwyane Wade's playing days short as well, he has been shut down a couple seasons in his career too

Does this mean that the Knicks' 11 assists, played against 24 turnovers isn't a cause for concern?
or is it okay because Tyson Chandler had 7 of them and not the Hall-of-Fame bound Baron "Boom Dizzle" Davis?

It was a personal foul for Tyson, but a fragrant was called due to the over acting of the drama queen. I don't know why Woodson didn't properly scout or rather inform the players of the queens acting ahead. He did this againsts the mavs. He should get the mvfp, most valuable flopping player. MVP should go to durantula.

Torn acl is does not happen because of wear. Its caused by a extended leg and is twisted or torqued . unless they had previous acl injury they're more susceptible.

Knicks health report card is not looking good either.

The condensed schedule is no longer an excuse... the teams for which it was are now on vacation. Once the playoffs start, you no longer have to face NON playoffs teams roughly every other game.
Rose's injury has as much to do with what he did RIGHT when he was injured as anything in the world. His issues this season were his ankles (shoes and Kobe called it in July) and back (playing style, which naturally cost him his knee). He cannot be taken as "fragile" until he starts missing games next season, considering he'd only missed three of them in prior seasons.

As it were, the playoffs are "Star Time," so without him the Bulls are in genuine trouble, and the Nuggets and Pacers can be written off.

bulls have boozer, deng, and noah but that's like hoping a tracy mcgrady led team could get anything done or even past the first round in the playoffs. Actually a Bulls team with those 3 guys are still better than an Orlando Magic team with just 1 Tracy McGrady in my book, but still i don't see these bulls getting that far without Rose. Nuggets, Pacers, and Philly could be out. Only team that played without a true star in recent years and won it all was Detroit and I don't think either of those teams are on that level.

i've watched the replay a few times. it looks like Rose's knee just collapsed and bent inward when he landed on it. i'm not sure if this injury was a result of that single play or if it was the cumulative accumulation of pounding and stress those knees have taken throughout this shortened season. if it was the later, i don't think even had the bulls taken him out of that decided game, it would have mattered as those knees would have just collapsed in one of the later subsequent games. (iirc, seems like stress in the knees was also what happened to Chauncey Billups, but Billups didn't even jump or take any impact. he was just standing there and abruptly fell to the ground).

hell, it also could have been the shoes too. maybe that nike designer getting heat right now was right. i don't have experience with the shoes personally and thought shoes were shoes, but if a guy like kobe who actually used and logged tons of minutes with adidas shoes complained about them, then he may be on to something. this could be really bad PR for adidas.

that "fragile" designation should only be reserved for guys like Baron Davis, Tracy McGrady, Andrew Bogut, Stephen Curry, Yao Ming, etc. who have a record of missing a shitload of games every season (some on whom claim "injury" even though they could probably play through it). Rose was injured most of this season, but I wouldn't call him fragile until he starts missing games every season. he played pretty much all the games his first few seasons. Even an Ironman center like Dwight Howard went down this season.

This is a career killer for guys like Rose... seriously I hate stuff like this

Hawks play so sloppy sometimes, it's cringe worthy, but they always find a way to stay in the game or in this case stay in the lead. If they can keep it up and tighten up on some the more "lose" positions, I believe they can make it through this series.

Yea I'm wondering if rose will retain his hops and lateral movement after surgery. Lots of guys lose a step which sucks because I'm a fan of rose

Shit just happens honestly. Thats the first time I've seen it happen to somebody who just landed on both feet. He actually landed with his right leg first, then his left. He jumped forward and pretty much landed square with his hip. I thought he landed kinda sideways/awkwardly but he didnt.
Most of the time, when folks tear their ACL/MCL, its from twisting.

Anyways, Rondo just got tossed out the game for bumping the ref...1 or 2 game suspension?

Nope, it was all the refs and acting as far as youtube highlights are concerned. Nevermind that the Heat played crazy D or that Lebron had one of the most complete games I have ever seen... It was all flopping as far as a certain homer is concerned. Last time I checked flopping doesn't get a 37 point lead in a PLAYOFF GAME but if you ask an unobjective homer YES it does. Boom Dizzle should have defended Lebron, he would have shut him down... It's all the refs, flopping and D'antoni's fault... Don't forget the grimlins... You should never forget the grimlins... You also shouldn't feed them past midnight either... Thats bad...

The rules state that if you intentionally make physical contact with a ref it's a one game suspension, so that's what he's going to receive.

I like how hes trying to say though he tripped into the ref, when the replay clearly shows that it was intentional.

i don't think he was thinking. probably heat of the moment, but you got to think about those things when you're down a few points in a close game in the waning minute.

out for the series is too serious. maybe if he punched the ref or ron artest'd him. i think he'll get a game, maybe 2 at most.

i'd like to see avery bradley step up his game. he did a great job filling in for ray allen the last 2 weeks of the season.
