oh okay. thanks
yeah my wideband maxes out at like 22.0.
Its warm on the bottom just find it really weird that the new nice radiator is way hoter on top then the old one. So i was thinking something was broken. and I fail emission was way to high on NOX.

Heat, a hammer, and patience. THere isn't much to 'get a hold of' per say to hammer it out but they can come out.

With that said, it also may not be worth your time or sanity when you get get a used on from craigslist/classifieds

Check the fuse box?

When you let off the throttle, and the engine has no fuel, what do you think the AFR will go to? Totally lean. Some gauges will even display 'air'.

All the radiators will be hot at the top, that's where coolant from the engine enters the radiator. Hows' teh bottom hose feel/ Warm/hard/hot? If it's cool, then your system may be working fine. What's your temp gauge say?

Question about this nipple on the TB on the SR20 (S13). Does this bottom line that is capped go to the charcoal canister? And does it produce vacuum?

Does anyone know the thread pattern for the 3 bolts that hold the power steering reservoir onto the strut tower?

Can anyone with credibility confirm?

if it has been removed before (bolt wasn't put back) yes, if not there's 1 bolt under the bumper on the side, so yes you have to take it off.

its in front of the sidemarker

I have a Personal wheel with a Momo (I think) wheel hub. I just installed it a few weeks ago, right before I had to leave (my car is in storage). I went back today and when I moved the car I heard the steering wheel was squeaking when I turned it left or right. I took it off and put the stock wheel on to see if it would make the noise, and it does not. What is my problem?

I did a compression test on my redtop SR20DET motor. Here are the numbers

Cylinder 1 - 155
Cylinder 2 - 170
Cylinder 3 - 170
Cylinder 4 - 170

should I be concerned about the 155 to 170 gap between the cylinders?
Thanks

Does anyone know if 30MM z32 brakes fit under stock 15x6 wheels with a 17mm spacer? Don't feel like spending $300+ to find out I can't use them yet, lol.

Will an oil cap advertised for an R32 GT-R fit an S14?

Edit: Looking like a no.

http://www.rhdjapan.com/jun-oil-fill...ed-nissan.html

Different part numbers for SR vs RB oil caps.

Yet Nismo is showing the same cap will fit Skylines and Silvia's so I guess I'm still confused:

http://www.nismo.co.jp/products/catalogue/#page=271

I've read the caps are either M32 x 3.5 or M33 x 3.5, not sure which ones which, or if they're the actually the same. Lots of misleading info.

It would be going on an SR20DET.

Pretty sure KA/SR oil cap specs are the same anyways.

Thanks for the morning laugh gents!
One thing I have noticed is that almost all companies who make engines keep what we call 'small shit' pretty darn common. Radiator caps, coolant tank caps, oil caps, you know, small shit. Remember, it is this small shit, that when you go to start making a car yours,(some call it drift tax, others call it speed God tax, you know what it it), you end up spending a crapton of money on small shit

what size tires should I be running? I used to run 215's on the rear when I was running my SR at stock power and it did pretty well. I'm now at 350 whp on the SR and I was still running the 215's. They were nice on the big parking lot because I could just light them up in either 2nd or 3rd gear.

Should I go with something larger now that I have the power to break them loose when I have to? Or stick with the 215's to make easy smoke? They seem to grip alright when I need them to.

what size rim and how much do they weight? The car will break traction with smaller rims a lot easier than larger rims. If changing tire size involves new rims, it is something to account for.

It doesn't really matter at those hp levels. Your question is based entirely on what kind of driving you want to do. If you want to be able to break traction in 2nd and 3rd then stick with the 215's, if you want cheap tires stick with the 215's, if you're happy with the grip you have stick with 215's. You want it a little grippier buy a stickier set of tires.

But if you want better traction tire for tire, get wider tires. Those wider tires (compared with the same tire in 215 size) will out grip, out brake, and give better launches assuming you aren't running a stupid amount of camber. And I can't stress this enough, but a wider all season will not out grip a skinnier r comp. I'm talking tire for tire.

Personally I think wider tires just make the car look way better.

Ok so I getting ready to do a hydro ebrake install, and I'm figuring out the lines now. I'm trying to model the install similar to this:

http://www.240sxforums.com/forums/s1...e-install.html

but probably not with banjo bolt/fittings.

anyway, my question is what are the stock s13 bmc fitting sizes? from what I've found, the size should be m10x1.0, but a local hydraulic store I went to brought that size out and it looked way to big. I've circled the fitting size i'm talking about in the attached picture.

^There are going to be a lot of different factors there such as bearing clearances, age of motor, weight of oil etc.

So did you bother to buy one to bring it home and try it out? There are two things going on here, your eyes deceived you or the store brought you out the wrong size. That or you just don't have a S13 BMC and should take it into the store to find one that fits.

Hello again guys so basically... Sad to say but... Fuck I got ZERO 240 friends. I don't know anyone to kick it with or talk to about cars or anything. I just get bothered by Civics all day around my area; there fucking EVERYWHERE, ha.

SO MY QUESTION IS, anyone want to become friends? Ha. I know it sounds kind of lame but I would like to have at least some sort of network of 240 friends. I'm from Orange County (Garden Grove area to be exact) and maybe some of you guys around the area would like to hold a meet or something?

All I do is work and spend time with my girl (Just got my AA so I'm kind of chillen trying to pay bills and mod my Kouki as I go ha).

PLEASE PM if any of you around the area are interested in such meet or just would be willing to (I know sounds kinda lame to say) be friends.

Thanks

-Rob

Running XXR's. 17x8.25 I believe.

I'd be running federals for the most part and I only use this car for drifting. I do like being able to hit a wide sweeper in 3rd gear and just make plumes of smoke with the 215's, but the tighter turns of the local track where the competitions are held might benefit more from a wider tire that can give me the grip I need to scrub speed off and not fly off the track

Relocating the battery and am trying to get the power wire through the firewall without removing the dash/HVAC stuff and don't want to run it through the ECU hole.

This seems to be the only spot I can kind of get a drill into. Can I drill into this without destroying anything on the other side?
