Hey guys, I'm looking to do a setup for HPDE. I want to run the same setup all around so I can rotate tires. I was looking at 17x8 all around or 17x9 all around. What size would you recommend? I also have Evo Brembo setup so what offset would be good without needing spacers?

IT'S TIME FOR 335s
At my old shop there were a ton of C6 guys swapping on Z06 rear fender flares and running 335/35/17s. They are a hell of a lot cheaper than any width in 19s or 18s. The epic Kumho Ecsta XS (UTQG 180) is only $211 in that size!
It's already been proven that 315/17s fit R&P stock s14 rear fenders, and tons of guys on here are running 20-50mm over fenders... So why hasn't anyone done this yet?!

I think it's because for the most part 18's look better with out being super slammed and camber like crazy.

First of all I read through this thread and used the search function a few times but I apologize if I missed this already.
I've got an S13 hatch on Tein springs, I just picked up a set of 17x7 17.8 +15 all around wheels anyone know how much tire I can fit? The guy at the local tire shop is willing to mount up a few sizes so we can get the biggest but a ballpark to start at would be nice I'm hoping 225/40/17 and 245/40/17.

I know they're out there. But a 17x11 or 12 or 13 isn't exactly common :P There aren't many options for wide ass 17s... The biggest 2 options are CCWs or BBS's and re barreling them. Or cut, widen, and weld a set like I'm doing over winter. Quote:
But like I said I think the reason is geared towards the fact that an 18x11 or 12 or 13 is 100000x easier to find than it's 17 counterpart. |

Anyone want to trade some wheels? I have a set of RPF1's 18X10.5 +15 in Silver. that i would like to trade for 18X9.5 +15 my wheels are Mint, they came off my 350Z. and I will be putting them in my S14 I just don't want to have to pull camber AND pull my fender to fit them. so that's why Im trading a pair of 10.5's for a pair of 9.5's wheels are mint. they are Silver. let me know if anyone is interested.

already got the wheels, and theyre not exactly ones that we will be able to find again in a different sizing ... i'm going to try to figure out the largest tire with a pull i can run without ridiculous camber, because if i have to run too much camber than i might as well run a smaller tire - gotta figure out where that line is drawn as well
i know people have fit 295+ on a stock body s14, but i dont know about on a +15 or how much camber they ran

Here's a pic comparing the old 295/35/18 to the new 315/30/18:

Again these are Falken 315/30's on Work 18x11 +27, stock fenders with a roll and pull, and I'm pretty sure -2 camber.
