Gt all stars was pretty damn easy since i bought the zr1 rm.. apparently the veyron sucks on all accounts for turns..

If you guys wanna beat the like the wind in extreme series, buy a zr1 rm (going to cost you 650k+ credits with the race mod). you can beat the daytona one with a veyron, but for the indy track it fails in so many ways. You get the toyota minolta from beating the like the wind challenge. use that to beat quite a few of the hard races in extreme series.

YES! Usually host 10-12 lap races and lately it's been a good turn out of people that are there to put up a good clean race.

I still havent purchased any car that has RM capabilities. Does anyone know the list of cars that can have RM ? so far from what i can tell the S15,ZR1, and i think viper and have it but thats all i know of. I couldnt seem to see any emblems or anything at dealers that say it can have RM.

RM= Race Mod. Its a completely built car... basically over halls its performance and makes it an all around better race car.

How did you set up your gear ratios to beat the like the wind race?

Edit: dude WTF I'm not even close to running with the front pack, how the hell did you win this with the zr1?

turn up the gear ratio all the way up, or a few clicks to max if you will.

i beat it first try with the ZR1 RM after failing so many times with the veyron. is your zr1 race modded?

put the downforce for front and back all the way full. suspension settings doesnt matter much in this race i suppose. you can beat it with a decent tune.

make sure you draft as many cars as you can, and youll be able to pass all of them by the 2nd or 3rd lap. once you pass them they will in return draft you, so make sure you block them. as for the corners just ease off the gas, braking is 95% of the time not necessary in the indy track.

New personal best on Tsukuba. R35: Stock transmission, stock LSD, medium race tires and no chassis reinforcement all driving aids turned off with a controller.

Still dialing in the suspension, I slid tires off on the 2nd and 3rd hairpin. Lots of room for improvement.

seriousss?!?! lol just kidding. but really it shouldnt be that hard.

what are your settings at?

it should go as follows : Max downforce front and rear. suspension settings. rough sketch but say 12.6/10.3 spring rate, rear sway bar set to 6, front 4 or so. front camber 2.7. uhhh. transmission gear ratio almost full if you will. it shouldnt be too big of a difference, can be more or less.

finally its all down to the driving. draft and brake later than them to pass them. use them as a rail to turn. rarely press the brakes. if needed tap it.

let off or ease at the gas during the turns, then once first, BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK. you should be golden. ok

I FINALLY beat GT All Stars using a Furai. You win it from the B-Spec Miata race.

Added soft racing tires and a turbo, the damn Minolta Toyota car kept giving me shit on the straight, but I was able to win 3 out of the 5 races and placed 4th in the other too and still finished 1st overall.

Gran Turismo 5 – New Replay Controls To Be Added » VirtualR – Sim Racing News

As reported yesterday, Gran Turismo 5 will receive its next update at the end of the month and while we still have no idea about all the changes, Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that the title’sreplay system will be refined.

In its current state, the replay controls are very basic, allowing no rewinding or forwarding which makes watching longer replays less enjoyable. The update will change that as revealed on Kazunori’s Twitter:

It is great they will continue to perfect it. They just need to bring qualifying back!!
