Nope. Is it going to make me NOT want to watch it? Yep. I've been asking people this question for a decade now, do you go to a strip club to watch the best dancer? or the best LOOKING dancer? i know who i'm flicking MY quarters at. |

totally agree.
why bother doing racecar things like a full cage, gutted interior, etc, for a car that will only ever show up at stance meets. the fit and finish looks very nice, but the concept bleh. |

I agree, it's not my favorite bodywork on the S15, but I appreciate the passion and effort that went into building Liberty Walks s15, and I always loved the original white lightning it was based off of.
Even this car has a lot behind it. It was already the old Endless drag car, which was just sitting around at this point, and they repurposed it. They have intentions of taking to the track, but even if it just goes to shows, I see that being better than an old drag car sitting beside some workshop collecting dust. It may not be my cup of tea, but the work was done well. To each their own.

Yeah. You're not wrong lol. Ironically, I like it better with the livery. I get the build PURPOSE, but I kinda feel like if you're gonna give it a JGTC/TA/etc feel, you can't half @$$ that, visually. Not my cup of tea, overall, though.

I could have sworn that first pic of the S15 with the livery was from a video game.
They almost look fully custom. Aren't bricks incredibly hard to find? That could be an interesting solution to a real world problem.

Actually, there's a whole article about it. Didn't read the whole thing, but it looks like it's pretty well built and they intend to race it. https://www.autofinesse.com/en/blog/...the-full-story

That S15 is DIW simply because it doesn't make sense.
JGTC kit from the period it was raced? Cool. Some Silhouette kit? Not cool. We like to see congruity, not incongruity. S13 with box flares? That can work. S14 or S15 with box flares? Go home and reread your design books because it's jarring. You see it on some of the kits for FDs as well- sharp edges on a soft design in an attempt to make it more aggressive but it just doesn't work from an aesthetic standpoint. From an amateur aero standpoint, it's easier to deal with squared shapes than rounded ones so that may be some of the rationale behind the sharpness. Suspension work section on that Autofinesse page doesn't list any subframe work; it doesn't list any adjustable front arms or aftermarket front or rear uprights either. |

On top of the horrible fitment and body lines that don't match. The fucking headlights are yellowed and old. The paint is shit and the bumper is damaged. The only good thing about this car is the power train.

Is it a rule that when doing a 5.0 front end, you have to have shit headlights lol. I feel like that would go a long way in not making it look like an inbred turd car.
This one isn't nearly as clean as the red one..which is horrible thing to feel like there's a "BETTER" version of lol
