thanks gabossie!! no offense taken hehe but yeah i aint too familiar with the santa cruz area.  i am from hayward/union city/fremont.  but i did go to the boardwalk like 4 months ago and freeway (i guess that was highway 9) was awesome!! but i didnt have my s14 back then!   <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sneaky2.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':evil:'>   but yeah if you could provdie some mapping/directions i would love to go check those places out thanks!!

Standard seat belts are fine, tech is pretty basic. Just make sure nothing is loose or leaking. and the battery is held down firm, and something is covering the Pos terminal on it.

I will have more info on Tech inspection within a few days.

And The payment will have to be before the end of Nov. I will let you know the details on payment when the time comes.

Esper, the highway you took to Santa Cruz was probably ******, also a very fun road, but lots of traffic. ***** runs from Saratoga to Santa Cruz and Skyline Blvd. crosses * at the top of the mountain. Bonny Doon is up in the mountains above Santa Cruz. You can take ************, ***************, *************, etc...All of them are fun but they are a little more dangerous. i have a '96 black SE... it doesn't have many mods... probably will be tinted and short shifter by then but i dunno... what would be the one mod i should deffinitly get before the races... just wonderin maybe i can dig the cash out of some hole on someones body

My suggestions are either... tires (BF Goodrich K/D's) , struts (kyb agx), or Sway Bars (Whiteline adjustable) Theres others too, but those will really shine on the track, especially when you need that oversteer  <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

I'm just noticing that there's a lot of autoX events and gatherings going on.  I'm off to ButtonWillow this weekend with some fresh Falken Azenis to burn on my FC.  Since I see so may people going to autox soon, if anyone needs tires for their cars, please hit me up.  Seeing how I work for an auto company, I can most likely help anyone needing any brand of tires get some for a good price.  Azenis, potenzas, maybe slicks, or some others.

I think Bill has already covered this. It's not going to be a race.

You'll basically be driving in a line for most of the track, and you'll only be able to pass at certain straightaways when the person in front of you signals you to pass. The main purpose for going to a track event like this is not to race but to test you and your car's limits, which you wouldn't be able to do at most other places without risking getting into serious accidents. At the track, if you somehow end up losing control and spin off the track, which isn't unlikely, you'll most likely just get a bunch of dust in your car (cuz the windows have to be down). It's a great place to test out and improve your driving skills.

Anyway I wanna set up a casual driving meet for mid-November, most likely in the East Bay, so maybe you can meet us there. Bicycle routes are great to drive on. Nice turns, nice scenery. You just have to watch out for bicyclists. :P

i'm not too familiar with that area, so im not sure of where we should meet before going to the helmet place...so if anyone has any suggestions for a meet spot, please let me know.

It's not going to be a race. You'll basically be driving in a line for most of the track, and you'll only be able to pass at certain straightaways when the person in front of you signals you to pass. The main purpose for going to a track event like this is not to race but to test you and your car's limits, which you wouldn't be able to do at most other places without risking getting into serious accidents. At the track, if you somehow end up losing control and spin off the track, which isn't unlikely, you'll most likely just get a bunch of dust in your car (cuz the windows have to be down). It's a great place to test out and improve your driving skills. Anyway I wanna set up a casual driving meet for mid-November, most likely in the East Bay, so maybe you can meet us there. Bicycle routes are great to drive on. Nice turns, nice scenery. You just have to watch out for bicyclists. :P
