Okay. We'll go for a drive up a mountain in San Jose for scenery on Sunday afternoon. We'll meet at 2:00 PM at McDonald's at the Mission Blvd exit in Fremont off of I-680. Park in the parking lot across from McDonald's and next to the freeway. Don't be inviting everyone you know. Keep the group small. In fact let's keep it no larger than 6 cars.

I personally don't know any official place in NorCal that does tech inspections for track events. MrMigs you can find out for us. ;)

For a "real" meet in March, let's all meet on March 1 and drive down to SoCal, go to the Drift Showoff event on March 2, and come back on March 3.

Personally I don't like telling the route on public forums, and rarely post a meeting time and location when going for a drive. Sooo just show up and follow everyone. :P I'm gonna estimate that we'll drive for about 70 miles. That includes freeway miles and up and down the mountain. We'll probably all go to a gas station first, unless everyone shows up with enough gas.

There will be a drift event on March 2 at Irwindale Speedway. Go to http://driftshowoff.com for more info.

I dont know any place in Norcal, but for the march 2 event, they're listing a tech. inspector place in Fremont, Ca, which is in socal.... doesnt help much, does it?

Anyway, see you all at McDonalds.... crap... im out of cash -- guess I'll have to pay via my spare change collection. hah.

we joined up with the International Yellow Car Meet up at the top, it was loads of fun, and i have about 15 seconds of video footage to prove it...but yeah, it was a very nice drive.

got my car and my licence back!!! wahoo!!! it's been a long month, not being able to drive. it was to the point where i woulda driven my girlfriend's caravan, just to get the feeling of being behind the wheel. but now, all of that is behind me, so my coupe and i can bond again.

sup guys, im new to the forum. i dont have a 240 yet but im saving up and looking for an s13 for a future sr20 swap. im in fremont and my friends are in a bunch of local car clubs (rx7club, 3geclipse club, 4ag club). i went to the golfland meet but i didnt know any of you guys, i was just there to look at the cars and own it up in the initial d tournament

hey anybody have the stock intake piping, plus airbox that i can borrow for my smog inspection? my car passed the emissions part, but the mechanic wouldn't look the other way on visuals because my intake doesn't have a carb sticker. on the other hand, does anyone know a place that doesn't care about the visual inspection part? i need to have this done by the end of the month, so if anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Welcome. Yes, some of us are going to Irwindale Speedway (in SoCal) on March 1 for March 2's drift event. Feel free to come along. Go to www.driftshowoff.com for more info and to register. You can go there to drift or just to watch.
