Wow cant believe I missed this thread too. My setup will be somewhat similar with similar power goals but the new BW turbo and VE head. I had Tom do my headwork too he has done a lot of our heads and does great work. Glad to see such good numbers out of an sr. I would be stoked on that power band since I plan to rev to 9k thats a plenty big power band.

To go fast lol, gonna make it a dedicated track car, so cage it, stitch weld it, throw a big turbo on it and some fat tires. Should be fun when its completed.

Small update- decided to get the DLI wired in today. It made me wonder, what is the record for most horsepower made on a stock SR20det ignition? i really dont know how to go about finding that out, so for now, i hold the record haha.

a good amount of money to say the least, but i work at the shop that built it so a lot of the parts and labor where discounted. unfortunately when i address the exterior of the car i will not have any major discounts, so thats going to be more then i would like to shell out, but im going to do it anyway

I decided it was time to address the cars paint, so i had a friend of the shop come down and look at the paint and he told me he could cut it down pretty good. So he came down today and got to work...
the finished product came out 10x better than i could have expected, these are cell phone pictures and they dont give the paint justice. hes coming by to do the wing and the side skirts, im super excited to see how it comes out

i know you need to see it in person, looks like a completely different car! and i kind of like them, i need to get them powdercoted a single color. they are an older gen Work S2 that the previous owner brought back from japan (HerraJDM) not like i give 2 shits about that

This is basically the final outcome, all it needs is a good wax.
lastly i will be cleaning up the engine bay and repainting my front bumper, as well as other aesthetic clean ups. i will also be buying a "boost a pump" so i can make my big power number. the reason i am doing all of this will be made clear if it goes through, cross your fingers!
