for the S13 probably not, I just dont see the point of painting this car, when there is a chance of it ending up in a wall lol (i hope not >.<)

The S14 though is gonna be the pretty car though.


I'll be ordering the RB25 next month when i get out of ALS School (kinda like NCO acadamy) and im working on getting coils for it

man been awhile since Ive done anything with the S13.
Had the Rack and pinion go out took about year until I felt like replacing it lol

had to pull out my Shimmed VLSD cuz it was screamin like a banshee turns out I brok off two pinion gear teeth


Then picked up a 300zx tranny for when the SR gives again


But new problem as arisen...kinda, for a long time now I was having exhaust gases leaking into my coolant system.

Well this kinda a hit or miss, but I tried re-torqueing down the Head studs again hoping it would seal it..... well Nope I ended up warping my head go figure

So pullin the head milling it and getting a new H/G and New ARP Head Studs


maybe give me a chance to clean up this rats nest call a harness

Finally Got in my new ARP HS, so started putting her back together

Also picked up a Circuit sport IM gasket, well see if that cuts down on the heat transfer

Pretty much where Im at since i got too dark

So I picked up some 180SX Power Folding Mirrors while I was in Okinawa.

So heres a little write up on installing them


Wire colors are the same for the Mirror Adjustments, The Blue and Green are for the folding motor.


The switch plug is the same as the 180SX one folding one minus 3 wires for the folding motor.

Now instead of just cutting off the USDM to swap on the J-Spec one, you can just Re-Pin the 3 wires.

Here are the 3 wires.


Start by unlocking the plug to gain access to the wire pin lock tab inside.


Then find a small solid object able to reach the wire pin lock tab,


Press the tab and pull up on the wire


Then unlock the USDM plug and insert the 3 wires in the appropriate spot




For running the wires to the switch I was trying my damnedest to try and use wires in the OE door harness but the Passenger side is a PITA to get to the Dash side plug of the Door without taking shit apart. So as much as I hated to do it I had to run the wires on the outside of the OE harness.



So then just run the wires to the switch and wire accordingly

Finally got a Real LSD in the chassis

Cusco 2 Way, Id prefer a 1.5 but couldnt pass up on the deal.





Feels so great to drive a car with a real LSD again

Man Not much else really going on with this build.

Right now Im debating on getting a Coupe and swapping everything over to it.

Other than That I just need tire rods and Ends, paint, and a good set of Rims and I think I'd be finished with this chassis.... Really Want a Coupe Though

Finally bought some Real Lug Nuts
Now I can Finally wrench them on with out worrying if Im gonna strip them out.

Well seems like its time to retire the old Fastback, Gonna be a little though since it was my first USDM S-Chassis chassis Been wanting to for a while since the Front end has always been jacked up and my liking to Coupes more.

So i picked up this Dookie Chassis from a friend for a a few hunndred. One big issue was the broken back glass which most of us know are hard to obtain due to Nissan and other glass companies not making them, well lucky for me a Coupe poped up in a junk yard here locally and I was able to snatch it up ^_^

Man good bit of work today.

Pulled out the whole rear interior to clean all the crap that accumulated over the years of not having a rear window.

wish i had taken a before pic, it was pretty nasty







Then started clearing out the engine bay to get ready to pull the engine.




All the crap I can throw away

Lol I'm holding off on the coupe until I get the title transferred into my name, which should be next week. Would have pulled the engine today but the AHS is upgrading to a new building, but I might do it at my buddies garage tomorrow. Well see
