Those headlights look so good
Crap phone pic, but this is mine during a 1000km solo road trip with 150kg of spares in the back. The rear scrubbed on every single bump and I think I'm an inch shorter now. Thankfully the front has come down a bit since then. |

So, the 3M Windo Weld Ribbon Sealer [3/8 inchx15ft, 08622] worked so awesome. It took me good two hours to completely clean off all the silicon residue. but after that it was just matter of laying the sealer around the grooves, and using the non-stick paper the sealer comes with on top of the sealer to press it down into the grooves. and well, I just got done doing this so it was at a room temperature, it was still firm but had bit of flexibility on it still that I didn't even think about using heatgun on it to make a good seal. Just man handel the covers into the sealer and clamp it in around the edges with good set of large pliers. Since the cover is clear, you'll be able to see any spots that didn't make a good contact. I didn't even have to let it sit or anything so I put it right on the car along with the clear corner lights. How, I am very furious about the front bumper so I will be looking to purposly run the front bumper down as much as possible so it'll force me to go back to oem front bumper or buy another front aero bumper. This shit pisses me off how poor the fitment is. Teh end. my car's are boring.

I need to make a Home Depot special lip...the fucking height difference between the sideskirt and no lip bumper is fucking killing me!!! Just need something to tide me over till I get motivated/extra $ for paint to change front ends...
Anybody got a picture of their cheap lip kit and what did you use? Lastly, clicking up front when you turn...wheel bearing? I lifted the front off and pushed the wheels top/bottom and there isnt any play. I might not have tightened the wheel hub, figured I'd check that when I get a chance, but looking for any other ideas on what else it could be... |

cut a couple small holes on the backside in the middle of your bumper and run some zip ties back to.. anything around the hood latch or rad support (higher than the point of where your bumper's sitting, obviously), and pull 'em up tight. it will bring the bumper up some, if not a lot. i gots the same problem, and it's not as bad after doin this.

well, the gap is there because the outter corner's were made off angle. if i wanted it to fit flush on the bumper support, i would have had to cut off a lot on the corners and that would make the lights sit at an angle.
reguardless, i'm pissed off about it.
