anyone know why my turn signals SOMETIMES works? my hazards work just fine, but when I turn my left/right signals on they don't work, but then 5 min later it works. I did search it up, but i couldn't find anything where the signals sometimes works. could it be the relay or the fuse?

Just put the recommended 750 mile break in on my exedy oem spec clutch, but most of them were freeway miles. just wondering if i should break it in a little longer since it was mostly freeway miles?

Where can I buy the CAS case gasket for a s13 sr20? Not the o-ring, but the gasket between the case and the CAS.

What the longest inner and outter tie rod combo?

So far from my internet research it looks like a 03-08 maxima is 13.30" long
And from pictures it looks like 370z outters are very long too, thou im not sure if they would fit into the front knuckles

Early 90s Maxima outters work and are about an inch longer than S14.

Thanks for the input, my internet search http://zilvia.net/f/showpost.php?p=5083369&postcount=3

yields these numbers

89-94 240sx.. 11.10" (m12x1.25)
95-98 240sx.. 11.37"
94-99 maxima 11.42"
96-99 i30...... 11.42"
97-01 Q45..... 12.00" (same with 01-06)
00-04 i30...... 12.91"
99-03 maxima 12.91"
03-08 maxima 13.30" (same with 04-06)
PSM Spherical....12.5"

I have an S13 that's getting 5-6 inch longer (each side) flca and relocating the pillow top mounts 5-6 inches outwards. So I need a tie rod combo to match and it looks like some rack spacers, 03-08 maxima inners are a good start. Just gotta find long enough outters is all.

Can I get power for my dual fans from my ignition fuse? I want them to run as soon as I turn on my car because I have a heat issue in Florida. (I don't know much about electronics.)

If you are running the enjuku/wire specialties fan controller:

yellow wire: file a small enough hole in the engine bay fuse box, and loop this wire into the fuse

black(small) wire: Attach this to the side of the (-) batter post with a U shaped connector

BLUE: These go to both fans
BLACK: These are fan (-), run them in series to each other, then to a common ground on the radiator core support

SENSOR: Stick it in the radiator fins

The other wires(orange) are NOT used

This set up turns fans on when the engine gets to a set temperature and both fans run. When you shut the car off, the fans will run until the engine drops 10* then shut off, maybe three minutes or so. I mounted mine to the front of the shock tower. You may want to fab up a small shield that goes over the top and sides to protect it from water when you wash(I have hood spacers so it gets wet and acts up until it dries)

Yes. I'm running a hybrid now.

Edit, to elaborate,

The basic bodies are the same. My SR pump died and I swapped an S14 KA unit by changing out the pulleys and large line fittings. The basic body is the same.

Sweet! Thanks! This didn't even pop up in a google search. Going on 4 18x8.5's, so no stretching for me. I'm sure the compound is probably crap, but at this price, it should be fine for daily duties. http://www.nlmotoring.com/product-p/...-245-35-18.htm

Nankang NS-20 just go 235/40/18, they are only $70.97 each with free shipping.

I suspect stretched it will be similar overall profile.

Anyone ever noticed the downpipe coming awfully close to the steering shaft where a plastic bushing is located on an sr20det swap?

Here's my HKS manifold/turbo setup.

Now apparently the swap was done just before I bought the car so it didn't have time to do too much damage. I think I'll wrap the O2 housing. Can't think of a better solution.

You'll have to run a one-piece pipe like a Tomei or Megan. That divorced waste gate dump is designed for RHD vehicles.

I'm talking internally. I saw a few posts saying the KA o rings and clips are interchange to rebuild an SR pump. Just want to confirm before I buy a kit and take apart my pump

This guy is selling used K-Sport coilovers (not the 1.3k kind) the $900 kind. He has put only 500 miles on them and he is asking $650. I think I cant go wrong wih this. Cheap price for a above average coilover set. Does anyone have any experience with ksport coilivers? Are they worth $650 shipped basically? Lol.

My AEM is having issues starting I don't think it's getting enough voltage from my Redtop. I got it started this morning by attaching a atv battery and a jumper pack to be red top. Anyone got any ideas on fixes?

if youre gonna spend the money on cheaper coilovers, go with Stance, Fortune Auto, PBM or D-Max.

most coilovers priced below $1500 are considered ENTRY LEVEL coilovers. there is nothing wrong with that as most people have no clue when it comes to suspension and just want to slam their car to the ground. i personally run Fortune Auto 500 series and have zero complaints. Ive owned cheap $800 D2s all the way up to $2500 JIC FLT-ARs and I can tell you first hand that the Fortune Autos are the BEST bang for your buck youll ever get!

sub $1000 coilovers are usually 100% chinese made shit that exist simply because people like cheap crap that looks shiny and they dont know how to manage their money to purchase something that is half way decent... but to each their own.

ksport, megan, D2 etc etc... its all the same

I'll agree with Dorki in saying Fortune Auto is definitely the best bang for your buck.

I've owned just about every set of S-chassis coilover out there.

Now riding on Fortune Auto Dreadnought series on my S13 and absolutely love them.

Keep in mind, Fortune Auto is easy to get a hold of, you can always send your coilovers in for service, and they have a fast turn around time.

Originally had a set of new JIC FLT-A2's for my car, but went with Fortune Auto since they're based in the US.
