While I'm in here, I have a question for you ride height gurus.
I'm currently running 215/40/17's all around, and I need tires. I also need to raise my car up, but I don't want to raise the coils.
I'm thinking either 225/45's all around or going 18's and maybe doing 225/40's... what do you all think?

go with 18s if your trying to gain height

45 sidewalls just rub more shit and u dont gain that much height

Cause you have proper Fitment with 9,5's and get some nice wheels for a decent price.
Really likin that size too, and I'll run them until I can afford some legit wheels.

Well... I'm thinking a 225/40/18 is only a couple millimeters taller than a 225/45/17, so one should really rub any more than the other.. right?
I dunno. Gonna test fit some wheels tonight and see what happens.

Advan Model 5's, 18x9.5 +10 215/45 front, 235/40 rear. The front tires are a little big for all the caster I'm running so I can't turn haha. I need 225/35's.

Also painted the kit today, just need to finish up the front bash bar to get the front bumper fitted.
