@turbo-2ns....I hear ya. I sold my twin 044's in order to try these Aeromotive Stealth Pumps since the 044's are huge and I was not patient enough to try and set them up. I also got a smoking deal on the PHR-Twin Aeromtive setup so I couldnt let it pass. The setup was made for Ben Freed's (Freed Engineering) car.....and as you can tell the man doesnt cut corners.

@Omar....dang didnt know you ran triple denso's at one point. Is that when the fuel cavitation issues began?

@2Step...ID injectors are great but you also have other options out there for your goals. FIC makes some great injectors and Precision 1200cc injectors took a few people I know into the high 700 low 800rwhp and they are rather cheap in comparison. If you are already mentioning 700rwhp then just setup your fuel system for E85 because sooner than later you will get the bug and want to reach that goal. We have plenty of E85 stations near us especially on Long Island. If you can setup your system for E85 why not......especially since AEM has been promising fuel blending tables forever so they should be able to provide something soon. Also, other options include AEM Infinity or ProEfi and also MegaSqirt V3......people are having great success with that system elsewhere. One of my friends is using Haltech and he loves it for the price. I am using Omar's old FIC -8 dual feed fuel rail. And as far as wiring....go to M&S in Deer Park and have them do the work....if you dont know about M&S go on SF and you will clearly see they are the premium 2jz shop in NY. PM me if you need their contact info.
yes man thats when everything began

for people using cheaper [ebay] T4 tubular manifolds what are you using? im stuck between

CXracing [newer?] turbo manifold:

Cxracing Thick Turbo Manifold 2JZGTE 2jz GTE 98 05 GS300 Swap T4 11 Gauge | eBay

or this older & cheaper manifold:

Toyota Supra 93 98 2jz GTE 2JZGTE MKIV Turbo Manifold | eBay

hopefully some of you have experience with either, i just want to know if there will be any clearance issues in my S13. either one i go with ill be replacing the wastegate flange for 44mm tial mvr waste gate.

Also E85 people share your fuel setups!!!

@Babilla.....I could see why Omar. I was using SolidWorx to simulate what a triple Walbro 255 would flow like and based on the fluid dynamics assessment in the program, there is a great chance of cavitation with that setup and the risk increases with more efficient pumps like your triple Denso. Makes sense why you switched your setup. The stupid design of our oem fuel tank and the small space between the triple pumps once installed will not create for a good scenario. If I need any more pump than the dual 340 setup I have I will be going with a single and ditching this setup. Much easier to locate an issue with 1 capable pump versus a more elaborate setup.

I'm using the driftmotion one, holes need a bit of finessing to fit correctly. Other than that, it seems decent. Cheap. I'm cutting the flange for a 44mm gate as well.

Can you please tell me which pin you had to use? Does the fuel pump prime for a couple seconds in acc postion (with engine off) or is it continuous?

wilbo666 [licensed for non-commercial use only] / 2JZ-GTE JZS147 Aristo Engine Wiring

The only pins I can see by a quick skim were the fuel pump controller and the diagnostic.

Thats a benefit of owning a stand alone I guess. So if I run a stock ecu/piggy back is my only choice to run a manual switch or hot at all times acc?

Should I cut and weld that smaller nipple on the new GE coolant pipe?

I bought this line from a fellow member - It appears to be too long and may have the wrong type of hose ends (straight + 90deg). Is there a problem with running the line like so or should I scrap it and get another one?

Thanks

Looks ok to me too. If you had a big kink like ">" in the hose, that'd be worrysome.

I think the drain for the turbo is usually clocked at more of an angle and the 90* fitting comes off of the turbo and the straight fitting goes to the block. Your setup looks perfectly fine though.

Any pics of how I should clock the center? I was going to pick up a 45 deg to replace the 90 just to smooth it out a bit more

Thanks guys

So ideally the feed/drain should be perpendicular to the floor?

I know this maybe a stupid question but is there anything else you need to do besides having the wiring service done when swapping a 1jz into a Automatic S14.

Check out Di-Devol's build thread. He's doing a 1jz with r-154 or Flicktitty's thread - he did a 2jz auto both have tons of great info
