The Junkhouse s14 looks to have the same problem i did when i got my car, the trunk sits kind of awkwardly and leaves a small gap.

I ended up unbolting it and shimmying it around and it fits way better.
Someone just put it on in a hurry after it was painted or something.

Oh and to fix the deck lid gap, you should be able to adjust the striker down a little.Just pull the center carpet back on the rear body panel and should be a couple 10mm bolts for the striker.
