alpine white is more of a "white" than championship...championship almost looks like a cream.
question, when people say they have "takata green" anything...is there a paint code for that color or do they just mix it to match the harnesses as best they can? |

Volk has a color they call takata green. Its probably because the takata NSX (JGTC) had those wheels on it. However I dont know the code or if Rays has codes for their colors.

HAHA Wake, I can't figure it out either...
Richard- Is it the black of night, tyre black, unpainted 180SX aero kit black, or the TAKATA NSX carbon fibre black? Maybe it was a quick reply from reading a quote on another page and you didn't realize.

^I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the quarter window moulding is part of the window. You're not supposed to remove it for paint, as it cannot be reinstalled. Time to source new quarter windows!

I removed mine for paint, put them back and they don't leak. Just use a heat gun and press them out. Don't use a glass removal tool because it tears up the seal.

Don't worry it can be fixed
I reused my moldings. Assuming yours are in ok shape...go to a window shop and have them glue that crap back in with the caulking they use for windshields and rear windows. I thought mine were going to fall out as soon as i leave the shop but it's been 3 weeks and not a problem. Not to mention the shop aligned them perfectly, have no leaks either. Don't blame me if something goes haywire but it worked for me.
