i know it sounds stupid but you know what i mean...was it painted like that from the plant or did someone take the factory paint and add a little something to make it "pop" more

since this is the paint thread i'd thought i'd ask:

when painting the car, how do you get the inside part of the fender...you know the "lip" that sits just under the hood where it's bolted to the frame? do you lift the hood and spray the area?

Take the fenders off and paint them all around, otherwise remove the hood and spray it all at once

Did my cage in nissan sillica breath, one of the other rare gtr nur colours. Hard to get an accurate photo of it though. When its in the shade it looks almost the same as the millenium jade that I've painted my interior.

Cheers dude, should hopefully be ordering my paint for the exterior in the next week or two. Engine bay and interior are all re-assembled now.
