How much power are you making at the wheel? How's the traction? Are you running 275s in front? How's the balance?

So you do know how to search and find info on your own?

So your admitting that your previous posts asking info about the car were pointless and annoying?

With these recent revelations, plus your new billy badasski attitude, are you still surprised people are being dicks and not helping you?

fucking jackass

Finally got my suspension on and wheels mounted, haven't set up camber or toe yet and definitely need to roll the lip a bit. But, I love it! It's amazing what suspension and wheels/tires do for a car, took me from hating it to loving it!

275/40/17 Nitto Nt05 on 17x9.75" XXR 527's with about 27mm offset I believe.

take a pic of the whole back

Question...
I have stock unmolested 97 fenders, Don't want to do any pulling or rolling. I am thinking of getting either 15x8 +0 225/50/15 or 225/60/15. Or 16x8 +0 with 225/50/16 I would like to have some meat in there. I like the look. I don't really like the rubber band tires. I know it's not 255 like others on here, But its all stock motor. No need for tires that wide..... yet.....

I have tried searching in many other threads, small q's, this one, Wheel whore, fs, wtb, etc, but this info isn't available... Thanks.

Did you use a spacer? I thought they came in 25mm for the 17x9.75's? Looks nice.

Ya you're right, they're 25mm offset. No spacer in the rear but the fronts need about 2mm to clear the (Godspeed) coil over.

I'll post up a back end shot as soon as I get one, waiting on concrete outside the garage before I can roll it out.

I think we're gonna repaint the car S14 gold, should look good with the color of the wheels.

need some input on what to go with been looking through this thread and liked a few of the set ups ive seen I couldnt agree more with this thread Ive never been a fan of the whole streatched tire look

So anyways I have a set of Work VS-SS 17x9 +15 rears, and 17x8 +15 fronts, I am torn between going with 245-45-17 rears 225-45-17 fronts, or going 255-40-17 rears and 235-45-17 fronts???

The car is a 1995 240sx, full suspension, and going to be about a 425 horse Ls1, leaning me more towards the 255 rear?? IDK tell me what you guys think.. I am not afraid of rolling/pulling the fender at all just as long as I dont have to go to a over fender or flare lol...

Thanks for the input, Heres the wheels

Better yet, sell the 17x8 and buy a pair of 17x11 for the rear, then you can use the 17x9 in front. and run 255/295

^^^ Just seems like I would need to do quite a bit of modification to the fenders to fit that in the rear especially... I also dont want to have to try to sell the narrow 8" fronts as a pair then track down or buy new pair of wheels Im going to stick with the wheels I have for now, and if I feel the need to go bigger Ill sell the set and buy something else. Maybe some VS-XX I like those wheels on the s14's

Thanks.

If all else fails, I'll just stick with 15x7 +40 with 205/60/15 lol. I know yall don't want to see that :P

Thanks.

If all else fails, I'll just stick with 15x7 +40 with 205/60/15 lol. I know yall don't want to see that :P
Run 225/45/15s on the 15x8s. You'll save weight and get some free rollcenter correction at any given ride height because of the tires smaller diameter. The small diameter will also help to quicken the steering just a bit. Should fit fine with no roll or pull. A shorter tire means it's also further from the fender. The Hankook RS3s come in that size, are only $104 each, will last 10k miles and are INsanley sticky!

But a kouki on 15s, this I gotta see.

thats the kind of answer I wanted. Main reasons for staying with the 15 is: less weight, better/quicker response, and still have a wide contact patch. yeah If the 225/50 will fit; I will go for those. The 45 series are too thin for me.

BTW I have seen them before on 15s thats why I like the look. Besides I'm on stocks so whatever lol. ANd the rs-3s wouldn't last long. looking at the asx's. Got great results on the ast's. So yeah.
although no details were provided on specifics :/ I'll ask though

I went to the calulator here Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

put in these numbers 195/60/15x6.5 +40 ---> 225/50/15x8 +0 and the 225s were still smaller. by a 25mm. but it's wider by 1.2 inches. So how would I go about seeing if I will hit lock to lock and not rub?

That calculator sucks, IMO. It wouldn't let me put a 215/45 on a 17x9.5

Try willtheyfit.com, IMO.
