Am I missing where you announced that you were going RB? That came straight out of left field man. Glad you're saving the shell!

yea it was a last minute thing. i was either going to do that or ls1 again. and the rb literally fell into my lap. so i couldnt pass up the deal. this particular rb put down 245 to the wheels where its at. id like to get it to a modest 275-290 to the wheels and ill be done and happy.

near the tail end of the summer. its right at the target range i wanted the sr at, and after some research i couldnt pass it up. its everything i wanted. i havent gotten to do much other than use it to put the car on the trailer, but in roughly a month i should have it on the road.

so i stopped by the shop today to check out the progress, and man i was i as giddy as a little fuckin school girl. ty took a bunch of pics while we were up there. no explanation just awesomeness. for reference, nothing has actually been mounted, so everything is very loose, scott assured me the finished product would look nothing like today. but heres some pics

so i got to stop up at izzys today and check out the car one last time before i pick it up. overall i am more that thrilled with the work done. scott has done an out of this world job with the front end i will be returning to him in the future with some more projects for sure. everything is securely mounted and amazingly crafted. now with that being said i will address some minor things that need attended too. the hood center section is bowed out, not only because its a tiny bit off, of factory specs and i am not using the factory hood latch. now unfortunately i threw it away. but i will be picking one up to correct the issue and get the hood to sit flush. the corner lights have broken tabs on them... no fix, ill need to buy new ones to get them to sit properly. and a couple minor things i need to tackle on my part. ill hopefully be able to pick the car up next weekend. so more updates will be shooting out soon. thanks again to scott rhea at izzys custom cages!
im done rambling, pictars. |

I pieced it together myself.
Grille off eBay. Hood on frsport, fenders off Zilvia. Overall I have 1300 in the front end. With bricks and a brand new cf hood |
