I'm on my 6th 240sx project

NOS KA24E (Warped a few pistons)
KA24DE-T (Sold)
SR20DET (Sold and bought a Yamaha R1)
Stock coupe (Sold cause I didn't like coupes)
N/A KA24DE (Wanted to see what I can come up with when buying all aftermarket parts from Ebay)
Current: RB20DET coupe

I've dipped into the Honda tuning in between these projects but Nissans will always be #1 for me!!

haha turned 18 last Jan. 13th and jan 20 totaled my KA-T...had her from stock for my 16th b-day and turbo/coilovers etc by 17...haha 1 of the fastest cars in my town before i had a license..which i couldnt get till 18...and i dont wanna hear any of those "no wonder you crashed it that was was too much for you at 17" shit. i was side swiped by a dick and pushed into pole..

I had a built suspension by 17. Finish it with some rt-615s and now im almost ready to complete by t25 setup. Btw i turned 18 on February.

Oh yeah i don't have it that easy and i know a lot of people that don't either. I work full time at Autozone and i still need $2,800 to finish paying the car off. I don't go to school though well atleast not yet.

My friend who is 16 has a really clean s13 gets paid around $6 bucks at most an hour as a dishwasher and is paying his car off plus insurance. He just got his s13 front clip and is doing a rhd swap as well all with his own money. He saved up a lot to get something he really wanted.

Another friend who is 17 is about to get a newer turbo mr2 working at mcdonalds all with his own money.

Just depends how dedicated you are and being smart.

I agree with the dedication factor, i just turned 20. I bought my 240 when I was 19 and within a year have spent over 10k on it, no im not spoiled or rich, i just worked my but off through high school and saved my money for what I really wanted..

im in the saem spot as you guys....ill be 20 in july..... i was fortunate enough that my parents gave me the 240 when i got my g1. since then ive been pretty much putting every paycheck into the car!
