I really like the Grahams but most of my watch loving friends don't like them. That may not stop me, but we'll see. I have also been eyeing Bell & Ross lately. The Breitling Navitimer on the other hand, well I would do that if I was living large. Most of our company's British senior staff wear Breitlings.

^^^ Bell and Roos look cool but "wear like shit". They are very uncomfy.

Graham is hit or miss. It's a big hit with me at least.

Navitimer is Breitling's heritage.

Thanks man, it's the "Navitimer World" (46mm version instead of the older 42mm version). It's for sale too..... if you are interested.

I bought a Bell & Ross for my father in law for Christmas because he is a retired Navy helicopter pilot and he absolutely loves it, though he does say that it is big enough that he catches it on things a lot.

my beef with it is the case-to-wrist design. sits flat, is chunky, and doesn't raise off the wrist. IM ALL FOR HUGE WATCHES.... as long as the caseback is rounded.

Sounds like U-Boat might be of interest then, or Panarei, or Hublot. I am not a fan of Panareis even though they have a cult following. Hublot I like but I think they cost too much. I tend to like the more dressy watches like A. Lange & Sohne. And I forgot Audemars Piguet, which I also can appreciate but they aren't really my thing

Thumbs up

Are there anyother companys that make watches in this kind of face style? I like the thin bezel, yet real round and sleek style of the face + the long skinny arms with the big numbers really give it a touch. Any ideas? (y)

Or such as this style of Seiko

Those cases are pretty standard style for dress watches. Tons of options. If you put a price range you're willing to pay maybe someone will post recommendations.

I test drove one of those. Could not get over the fact that the bracelet was so small compared to the Case. Seemed unproportional.

Got the Skagen in today, first watch purchase in my life. Looks good, wish the mesh band had more flexibility though =\.

Yah, I definitely prefer the good ole submariner instead. Not like anyone will ever legitimately go diving in a Rolex. But even if they do, diving typically stays above 200ft.

But if you want bragging rights...

Once I Graduate from my MSN and get into a C.R.N.A job, I will buy either one of these watches as my graduation gift. 7 yrs of schooling = gotta have something nice!

Jlc Master Diver watch or Master compressor watch

or the Tag Heuer Grand Calibre 36 Rs Caliper

Currently own:
Tissot
Citizen
Victorinox
Fossil Ceramic
and an Invicta

some guys enjoy Jordans, some enjoy hats, I enjoy my watches!

Have you ever seen the profile of that watch? Disgusting. I can't stand domed crystals. Though, I do have respect for that watch.

I don't know, I like the domed crystal on a Rolex because it's the only Rolex I know of that has it. It's def a really beefy watch but I like the style

I hear what you are saying.

Have you ever heard of Kaventsmann?

Truly beautiful boutique pieces.

I think i am dead set on buying a bronze watch next.... might hawk one of my breitlings for it.

I am considering pulling the trigger on one. It's between Kaventsmann and the Ennebi Fondale. the Kavenstmann has a huge domed crystal on some of their models.

Kaventsmann

Ennebi
