I took my pipe and cut one of the bends out. It just has 1 45 degree bend that leaves the turbo, and the filter sits right behind the radiator on the side. Perfect Fit.

I would like to see some pic's of underneath.
just to see the clearance avail in doing Tubs.Seems the Pinch weld Holds you back from lowering the front more than normal due to the strut Tower under section. Angle is what I gather is the main Purpose. Lets see some.

I got mine from Northern Tool. You can also get them from Tractor Supply as well.

I<3 SR, that looks great.
What did you use to cut your metal? What was your technique for welding? It must have taken forever!

The normal intake is shaped like an S. So i just took out 1 of the bends. (to make it into a 45 degree.) I get a pic of it, have to let my camera charge.

Working on rear tubs for my coupe now. Just cut the fenders out but only towards the front of the car... just tubbing the front sides for a little more clearance and to make a nice clean look in a gutted interior. Haven't seen anyone do full rear tubs though |
