I would leave the wing off so it doesnt look exactly like BH's car minus the color change.
Honestly I have not been able to stop looking at your car. Shit is amazing. I love it. |

totally went to Autozone to get a clutch line, the one from Hard line to clutch slave. yeah, that shit is $12.99 brand fucking new. on the way out of the lot, I made the turn wrong at the entry way and popped one of the front bumper zipties off. this is got to be about 30th time that I've done it with this bumper, still no real dmg to the bumper. so glad, but every time I hit the bumper hard enough to pop the zipties off going out of places it makes me think that I cracked the bumper real good cuz that shit sounds horrible.

Yup, if your zipties break too easily, make a trip to homedepot and get the higher tensile rate zipties. I used to run the 60 lbs zipties, always had a bag in the door pocket.

I became I firm believer of zipties after my car ate a fucking gator tire on I-10. Car in front of me just ran it over so it flew at my car. I couldnt change lane since I had a truck and a semi on my sides. Hit it, bumper breaks the zipties, flew off over the car, jumped 2 car lanes to the emergency lane. Pulled over, I can see it still in one piece for the most part. Put the car in reverse, picked it up and ziptied it back on the car and drove 2 miles to get to my buddy's house. The bumper lost a chunk at the bottom part but all the mounting tabs are all still there. I rebuild that fucking bumper, if I didnt use zipties, that shit would have shattered into a million pieces.

I use two bolts in the very center and 1 ziptie at each end corners to the fender. works fine for me.
I had the snap down latches for my bumper on the S13, it was cool and came in very handy because I can take the bumper off in 30 secs or so, but I would do it on S14.

For what, DD, drift, grip? At that size look into star specs, rs-3's, nt01's? Maybe the Hankook v12's, heard tons of good things but never driven/ridden in them. Or dz101's but they arent that great for grip.

I'm never running on DZ101's for sure, had my faith in them for little but I lost that real quick. they suck in rain and once they go through couple of heat cycles from track, it's done.
want to keep it at about $250 per tire in that size, so we'll see.

How about 265/35-18 Achilles ATRs? They were pretty good in the rain...Right now, I'm running General G-Max AS-03s and they're good as a daily.
But for what you're price range and looking in Tirerack, Hankook would be your friend. Either the V12 or the RS3 depending on how much life you want out of it. |

Love my Star Specs in the rain, dry, anything really. Not on 18's but still a great tire no matter what size. Only thing is, I can sort of feel the loss in grip because of how many heat cycles they've been through.

If you're willing to do a 265/35 the Toyo R1-R comes in that. They're pretty ridiculous, just as grippy as my NT05s were but they out perform them in the rain....from what I've read they are just as grippy in the rain as they are in the dry. I know 235/40/17s are cheap as shit (220 shipped for a pair) so I'd imagine their other sizes are decently priced.

the setup I'm looking at doing..[I've posted this on the maximum tire thread]
18x9+22 245/40/18 General AS-03's[because I have 10+ of them things] 18x10+38 275/35/18 ???? on brand yet if I do 265/35/18 in rear, i won't be able to run the 245/40/18 in front because the front's will be taller then the rear and that instantly feels retarded[I've tried the wider contact patch but smaller over all size in rear before...did not like it], so tire size wise I'm pretty set with. NT05s or INVO are one of my top 5 list for the rear's right now, along with GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 GS-D3[they are on crazy ass sale right now on onlinetires.com], BF Goodrich G-Force Sport, RE050A's, and lastly the Yokohama S-drives. I'll sit on this one for a little bit more and give it some thoughts, but RE050A's and the INVO's are being very attractive right now cuz I know the corvett dudes run it and it's just massive amounts of grip from them[that I've been in]

The NT05s will stand alone in that group of tires....they are a totally different monster (200 tread wear compared to 280+). Those Generals are only 480 treadwear though...so they wont really grip worth a shit...and 245/40/18s are massive, 245/35s and 265/35s would work out...as would 235/40s.....but if you're dead set on using those Generals I'd just get the cheapest rears you can because I am pretty sure all of those tires you listed are leaps and bounds sticker.
