Yea, you need to use the s14 body plug to get the signal going to the gauge cluster.

On the 2jz aristo harness the sensor wire also goes to the body plug (the big square looking one). When you cut the wire off the aristo one you then solder/crimp or whatever onto the s14 body plug in the correct pin location.

Any of you guys using or know of anybody using this fuel rail from driftmotion?
Welcome to Driftmotion!

I'm looking for one that isn't a dual-feed and this is the really the only one i've seen so far.
Also open to suggestion if you know of a better one.
Thanks

its the same as any of the ebay hks knock off rails on the market, problem is all the hks knock offs are for 11mm injectors which are not as common as a 14mm

any rail thats dual feed can be used as a single just cap one of the ends

I'm doing a 2j swap into my 240sx. I just got the r154 transmission with the 1j bellhousing, 1j flywheel act clutch kit and arp flywheel bolts. when going to mate the transmission to the engine we noticed we where missing the sandwich plate. Is that something that is needed, if so where can i find one?

By sandwich plate i mean (I) in this picture

Where are you getting your lines from? I want to run mine up the drivers side from the tank but can't find anywhere that sells anything long enough

Yea, that was part of my question as to what size. I'm running them on drivers side.

I think 20ft would be a little short.

hey guys. i would like a little help with my aem wiring for those who have some experience with it.

iacv:

the aem pinout shows it needs 4 of the 6 pins from the iacv plug. does the sensor still need the two power wires? (i assume it does)

Are you running the lines off the stock sending unit or from a fuel cell? Also are you using the stock jz fuel rail? I read somewhere the sizes were -8 for feed -6 for return but the source could be wrong? I'm not sure. 20 feet sounds like plenty of enough line though, depending on how you want to rout it

For those wondering about the Fuel lines, this kit includes mostly everything you need, you only need to get the 6AN fittings for the stock fuel rail

I'm running -6 lines from my fuel cell to the motor
You will need about 15 feet for each line
I'd go with 20 just in case

I did my fuel line setup with fittings for about 100$-125$ shipped

And secondly
I still have no spark
I checked my fuel injectors and they
I checked to see if there is power to my cam sensors I have some just Dont have the numbers at the moment
I'm getting quite frustrated with this
I'm wondering if I should replace the sensors or not
All grounds are good also

Any thoughts on what else I need to look for

On your ignitor on the small 4 pin plug, there is a black wire with a orange stripe, do you have 12 v at that wire?

I'll check this week whenever I have a day off from work

Btw I forgot to mention I also changed out my ecu with a known working one
Pulled from a car that was running when purchased so I know that's not the problem either.

I'm running stock 1jz rail, but any fitting is available for it. I am running a cell as well.

not to sound like an ass but I believe its literally just to keep the IACV cool so the sensor wont read differently. Heat increases resistance if memory serves me right so I'm guessing thats why it's cooled. if you remove it you'll have to keep your foot on the pedal until the car warms up when it's cold. I had a bad IACV on my SR and it's not too bad if you remove it.

The black with orange stripe wire needs a 12v supplied by a relay, ecu won't power it because it is on the 2j body plug.
